Just how will Charlie Sheen's 'Two and a Half Men' character exit the hit CBS sitcom? According to reports, he's kicking the bucket. The script has yet to be finalized, but sources have told TMZ Sheen's Charlie Harper will be written off in a way preventing the actor from ever returning to the series.
One situation involves the character driving his car off a cliff.
While filming won't being until August, the current plan is to have Ashton Kutcher's character buy Charlie Harper's home.
Sheen is reportedly eying a return to sitcoms outside of CBS and 'Two and a Half Men.' RadarOnline's report indicated a deal with TBS, however according to USA Today, TBS has denied the reports.

Sheen WAS the show. The character who plays his brother in the show is just annoying, and really did not even need to be there.Without Sheen its not worth watching period!

The show will be racier? Oh great. The slide continues......

Glad to hear it...the only way I will ever watch the show again is if he is GONE...
He should find out he is HIV positive, get drunk as usual then drive off a cliff...
As for a new show much racier, just what TV needs, more trash.

Lorre sure needs to retaliate. I can see killing off Charlie in two ways. Lots of people liked his character and will not be happy to see him murdered by a egomaniac producer.
Or it will make him a martyr to the ego of Chuck Lorre. Either way, Charlie Sheen is winning.
PS to Lorre. Your idea on Big Bang Theory is great...but the writing sucks.

Why not kill him off and then Ashton shows up as a illegitimate child from Charlie's past to claim the house, then the negotiating with Alan begins.

he drove over a cliff drunk.
he got drunk, took an over dose and drove off a cliff.
he found out on his wedding nite with chelsy he had aids from all the hookers he's slept with through the years. so he took an over dose, got drunk and walked into the ocean.
or... a burgler (MR LORRE) BREAKS INTO HIS HOUSE AND BEATS HIM TO DEATH

I would write Ashton Kutcher in as Charlie's son he never knew he had, he could be the younger version of Charlie. Charlie is touring with the music he writes for his jingles or whatever he is suppose to write. Alan, Jake, Mom and Berta are still doing the same ole thing.

What a man !!! Can't even with millions hold onto 2 teen hookers as girl friends. LOL .. What a LOOSER

It is too bad that Charlie is done all this to him self, he was popular making more money that God only knows, and now he has to be humilliated watching his show fall in the hands of another actor, that is what you get for drinking out of control and using drugs and running around with women of ill repute.

His character should be found in a hotel room beaten to death by a pornstar hooker. Perfect end for his character.

Ha ha ha...ONLY for his character? Tee hee...I know, that was a little harsh, but he's an idiot!
The big loser is John Cryer...basically he can only be (re-)cast as Duckie...the show is dead without Charlie...however, i think a spin off centred around Berta could go a few seasons

How about this scenario: He has advanced stage syphilis - his brain has gone and the whole brother-and-nephew-moving-in-with-him was an insanity-induced dream!

Isn't that what he is really going thru right now...LOL!
After a night of hard drinking, have Charlie choke on his own vomit.

I also heard this morning that they will kill Charlie off in the show (most likely aq car accident)and have Ashton Kutcher's character buy his house on the beach. But in a previous episode, Charlie told Allan if anything ever happened to him that his beach house was willed to Allan......obviously they can spin it any way they choose, but I won't be watching once Charlie Sheen is off the show. Granted, he went off the deep end in his personal life, but I think the show and network is hurting itself more than him in removing his character. It just won't be the same at all.

Chuck Lorre is an amazing writer. I'm not ready to say that the show is "no good" without Sheen. Frankly, I think John Cryer and the rest of the cast made the show. Sheen basically sat on the couch and delivered well-timed one-liners. Let's give it a chance. I'm not a big fan of Ashton Kutcher, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Lorre does with him.

Can't wait for new 2 1/2. Sheen's 'acting" was horrible toward the end and his character became stale because of it. CBS was right to dump him.
Hopefully he'll get some much needed help for his problems. Would be terrific if he was some day able to truly apologize for his actions and realize the errors of his ways.
Then he'd really be "winning"...

I think they should kill off Charlie, in whatever way they choose, and at the funeral, they meet Ashton, who is their father's illigimate child, making him Alan's half brother. Alan invites Ashton to move in with them, voila, 2 1/2 men.
