Halle Berry Accuses Ex Gabriel Aubry of Neglecting Their Daughter

The custody fight between Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry over daughter Nahla is still going strong, UsMagazine.com reports. Berry made an appearance in family court on Tuesday and accused Aubry of violating an April custody agreement regarding their 3-year-old daughter.

Laura Wasser, Berry's Hollywood heavyweight attorney, submitted lengthy documentation focusing on Aubry's parenting skills. TMZ.com reports the Academy Award-winning actress alleges that Aubry neglected his daughter during an overseas visit and put her safety at risk.

The 44-year-old actress requested the judge rule that Aubry violated the agreement. Since he was not in court, the judge set a hearing for a later date.

Berry and Aubry first began fighting over custody in January. "Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her," her rep told UsMagazine at the time.

"Halle has always made the needs and safety of her daughter her first priority and, both while Halle and Gabriel were a couple and since their break-up, Halle has only acted in her daughter's best interest," the rep added.

Berry and Aubry broke up in April 2010 after several years of dating.

Gabriel Aubry was used for his genetics within the framework of an honorable marriage. Halle was very straight-forward about this in her pre-nuptial interviews.

Ok little girls need their daddies but as usual the Mother must protect their child, if Daddy is insufficient shes better off without him.....a bad Dad is worst than no Dad at all!!! However children should not be used as pawns!!

Its really not our business and we don't know the whole story. What man would really want to take a girl from her mother anyway?I don't know the true story but it would be nice for her to have both parents but definitely a girl needs her mother! Lets hope and pray they can work it out for the sake of their child because their personal issues past or present don't matter.

Wow, this thread sounds like fans of Aubry have hijacked this post. Let's get real people. If there is a concern about the child's safety, then things should be looked into...doesn't matter if Halle dated Goofy, Donald Duck, and Mickey Mouse at the same time. Point is that she took care of her child. And, for you women to being tearing her apart because she is concerned about her child is crazy in itself to say the least. You people are just as looney as you are trying to make Halle out to be.

um, she has just been waiting to pounce and start things again. she is not happy unless she alone has custody and total control. it's not hard for the average person to see this. let's hope the court can. she deserves no custody actually.

Is it possible that every man Halle Berry has a relationship with ends up being revealed to be a horrible human being? Every single one? If true, what does this say about her? If not true, what does this say about her? It's more than likely a more simple truth is at play. Gorgeous, just isn't enough to keep a man in a long term relationship. This is especially true if, "gorgeous", happens to be an obvious serious head case.

Gabriel knew what he was getting into when he got Halle pregnant. Since i was BORN i've listened to Halle talk about how bad she wanted a baby. The entire world, and Gabriel were well aware of it.
What does a male model want to do with a baby? Bring his sleazy female models around, so the daughter can grow up feeling self conscious?
I feel for Halle, and at the end of the day, both people will most likely find another significant other, leaving the child with both male and female role models at all times.

Shoot, if i had to think about having my baby around foreign Gabriel and his celebrity lifestyle, i'd fight until i was blue as well.

My son went through almost 2 years of hell from his baby daughter's mother. She wanted us out of their
daughters life so she accused him of everything under the sun..We spent almost 2 years in court fighting every accusatory motion she brought against us every single week. She and her family spent 85K in family court. They lsot every motion but it cost my son 25K to fight all her accusations. The baby is almsot 4 now but we can never relax not knowing what she will throw at us in the future. I do NOT believe Halle Berry. Gabriel has been vocal about being very much a part of his daughters life and Halle wants him gone--so she is making up anything she can think of to make him go away. She probably has dreams about marrying Olivier Martinez and making it a "happy family". Gabriel is in the way...Shame on you Halle. Your child needs to know her father and they should be equally a part of eachothers lives just as your daughter is part of yours.

Who can take Hallie Berry seriously? I haven't thought much of her in a long time. She's dating another man and those pesky visitations for her ex and her daughter don't figure into her schedule. She's used to getting her way. Also has a LONG history of not getting along with the men in her life. She's just another wackadoo that plays the race card. I think she puts this crap out there to discredit her ex to change public opinion, but looks like a conniver by doing so. He wasn't just a sperm donor... your poor little girl needs her father. When you were dating...you had the nicest things to say about him like how normal he is and how you weren't used to nice guys like that. We need to look at your credentials for raising this child.
