Halle Berry Accuses Ex Gabriel Aubry of Neglecting Their Daughter

The custody fight between Halle Berry and ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry over daughter Nahla is still going strong, UsMagazine.com reports. Berry made an appearance in family court on Tuesday and accused Aubry of violating an April custody agreement regarding their 3-year-old daughter.

Laura Wasser, Berry's Hollywood heavyweight attorney, submitted lengthy documentation focusing on Aubry's parenting skills. TMZ.com reports the Academy Award-winning actress alleges that Aubry neglected his daughter during an overseas visit and put her safety at risk.

The 44-year-old actress requested the judge rule that Aubry violated the agreement. Since he was not in court, the judge set a hearing for a later date.

Berry and Aubry first began fighting over custody in January. "Halle has serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father for any extended period of time and is prepared to take all necessary steps to protect her," her rep told UsMagazine at the time.

"Halle has always made the needs and safety of her daughter her first priority and, both while Halle and Gabriel were a couple and since their break-up, Halle has only acted in her daughter's best interest," the rep added.

Berry and Aubry broke up in April 2010 after several years of dating.

SO...you get pregnant by a guy, have a child and NOW you are worried he is not a good dad? Maybe you should have considered that before YOU had a child with him??? Hollywood...always does thing backwards!

He was the perfect husband and father when she was in love and married to him It's odd that when they are no longer together he's a danger to THEIR child. Unfortunately, when people fall out of love they try to hurt each other and most of the time end up hurting their children instead. No matter what, he's still the child's father and has a right to be in her life.

I'm so sick of Ms. Berry's tantrums. She is a very selfish, self-centered, insecure, vindictive person. I feel sorry for the poor French guy she is with...Mr Aubrey, on the other hand, has been a gentleman, caring and concerned about the child. Unfortunately, he was just a sperm donor to her, chosen not because she was in "love" with him, but only because he had the right genes. I have the most utmost respect for him and utter contempt for Ms Berry.

When she laid down with him she didnt know who he was, She is a very sick lady, why would you treat him like he is going to hurt her, he was good enough to watch her when she was doing a movie. What is up with her. she cant keep a man, she got some issues. now she is concern, she should have been concern when she laid down with him. From everything I have ever heard about Halle Berry her own father was not a part of her life. He left the family when she was very young child. Someone needs to tell her straight up that if she denies her child the right to be with her Daddy she will feel same pain Halle did without her father.
Also have read interviews Halle has given saying she picks men who have been abusive to her and she knows it was because she was looking for a father figure. One even caused her to be deaf in her ear, I think it is the right one.
She needs to open her eyes and see the road the little girl will go down since her mother is not a good role model. The child is not just her child two people brought her into the world and Halle should Thank God Gabriel wants to be a part of their child's life. He is not just walking away like so many men of any race do.

Halle Berry is C R A Z Y!!! Every relationship she's had has gone badly and I'm now beginning to think that it's because of her and Not the men. I think she is pretty, but needs some intense counseling. Something is not right there. I understand she wants the best for her child but there is always some kind of drama surrounding her. The only person I feel bad for is that baby.

Something is wrong with Halle Berry and I think she is going to be the person who ruins her daughter's life. Kids need a mother and a father when it is possible. I understand there are many instances when it is better for a child to be away from a parent. However, very often children are used as pawns to get revenge for one parents hurt feelings. I think Halle Berry needs to get over herself and get along with the man SHE decided to have a baby with for the next 15 to 18 years.

I think just maybe Halle needs to talk to a DR. She may have so serious issues to work out. I mean if you keep picking MR.Wrong then maybe just maybe its not the mean. Perhaps its time too stop dating for a while get yourself together not just for you but your kid as well. Halle Berry is nuts. She wants that child all to herself, and didnt expect Gabriel to fight. She needs to work on her mental health issues. If he wasnt a good father, than Nahla wouldnt be smiling and happy in ALL the pictures you see them in together.
