Losing a friend is always hard, and 'Jackass' star Bam Margera lost his very best friend when Ryan Dunn died in a violent car accident last week."It was pretty much the worst news I've ever heard in my life," Margera told E! Online while sitting next his wife, Melissa "Missy" Rothstein.
"He was my best f--king friend in the world. It's been five days now and I can't stop crying man," a visibly upset Margera said. "I just don't think it should've been him."
Though news of Dunn's death came as a shock -- Margera woke up to the news in Arizona -- the 'Jackass' star's reckless driving didn't come as a surprise.
"He flipped me in a car eight times at the same exact spot in 1996," Margera said. "Thank God I had my seat belt on, because ['Jackass' star] Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn't have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he's alive. But like, Dunn was always a maniac at driving."

well, imagine how you'd feel if your best friend died. dont be a jerk. if my best friend died i'd have trouble even trying to live my life. i'd be a mess, just like Bam. everyone would say the same things and act the same way if they lost someone like that...
He knew the risks with drinking and driving, and apparently drove recklessly on a regular basis. It was bound to catch up to him and it did. Brought it on himself, too bad, but that's what being irresponsible does.

The real tragedy is that his friend is blubbering over this loss while "staying drunk for the last week"--what he said on tv-- I hope someone else is driving him around to avoid further situations like this and I hope he wakes up young enough to be able to answer the question asked of him about his friend..."do you think there's a problem with alcohol here?"
Alcohol is not the blame here....it's the person(s) inability to control their intake or be smart enough to stay away from driving if you drink too much.
These so called "celebrities" think this is normal, or "cool"...maybe now they can see that it just takes a choice to not drink like a fool or choose not to drive if you do.

yep, all you need to do is control it. unless you have a problem with alcohol (alcoholism) which by definition means a loss of control whether you are stupid or albert einstein. get a clue, join the 21st century and suggest people get help not get smarter.
if you make any kind of money HIRE A DRIVER when you go out drinking or take a cab.....if your poor walk to the bars...
People that get DUIs or kill themselves and more tragically someone else are f*cking morons!!!

Exacting what I was thinking. Is he that stupid or high or both?
i think he's high on something. sadly, i'll bet he's next.
ITS JUST TOO BAD SOMEONE ELSE HAD TO DIE BECAUSE OF HIS STUIPIDTY

I understand all of the points being made. However, a life is a life and he has family and friends just trying to mourn a loved one. Show some consideration for human beings.

with most of these unsympathetic creeps on here. "its do unto others, before they do to you"
It's an unfortunate thing but if this has happened to the man before apparently he didn't learn from it. The real tragedy is that he managed to kill someone else along with himself.

You all make me sick. The guy is dead. Just shut up and leave it alone.

agreed.
Ohhhh..so you think it's OK to drink & driver & kill someone?? Put the bottle down, FOCUS...the idiot was drunk & driving...Get over it?? Tell all those people who have lost loved ones because of another's inability to make a sound judgement.
leave it alone why he should have left it alone . his friend dont look right him self. hes realset or been tossed to many times his self
I totally agree. Only God can judge this guy and the rest of us when our time is up on Earth!
The people who should be shutting up, leaving it alone and doing some soul searching are the jerks like this Bam guy. He's the one who's continually whining about his loss and shows no sense of remorse for his own failing as a responsible human being and true friend.
I never really like the show. I dont belive in drinking and driving at all. It is sad that they both lost there life. I know the feeling of hurt when anyone loss someone. My heart goes out to there family and friends. We all make mistake. I will pray for the pain and hurt to heal.
