Justin Bieber on Next Album: 'I Just Want to Make Music' (Video)

Sure, he stars in sold-out movies, busts a move on stage, and manages a few laughs now and then, but what Justin Bieber really wants to do is just make music.

It's been a while since the 17-year-old has released any new tunes, and it looks like fans will have to wait a little bit longer to get their Bieber fix. The singer told MTV News that he's taking his time on his next album.

"I want to work a lot with myself," he said. "And [I want to] write a lot myself. I will be working with a lot of other producers and stuff like that, but I'm just writing a lot, writing on tour."

The 'Never Say Never' singer is currently spending his down time on tour writing and recording new songs, but doesn't feel pressured to turn out an album by a certain date.

"[I'm] writing about how I feel and producing. I've been producing on my laptop and on my computer," he said. "I've been really into it and, hopefully, this next album will be huge."

And if his previous albums and massive 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' 3-D movie are any indications of what's to come, we have a feeling the Bieber will do just fine.

But what can fans expect from the teenage star, who has collaborated with everyone from Kanye West and Chris Brown to Rascal Flatts, on his next album?

"I've done a lot on my acoustic guitar, so it's gonna have that vibe," he explained. "I'm not gonna really limit myself. I think music is music, and genre -- I mean, I know there's country music, there's rock music, but my music is different. My voice is not meant for any style. I just want to make music."

Could a collaboration with girlfriend Selena Gomez be in his future? Maybe, the 19-year-old starlet recently revealed.

"Whenever I do songs I kind of do them organically," Gomez said when asked if she plans on collaborating with Bieber any time soon. "So if it happens, it happens."

Really people? He's still just a kid. Imagine if his mom read this. Would you be pleased with yourselves? She's said, often, that she can't really go on the internet because of all the hate generated towards her son, her baby boy. My little sister loves Justin Bieber. Absolutely adores him. I don't really care for his music, but the kid has talent you have to admit that. And obviously, the little tweeny boppers like him or else that movie wouldn't have been such a huge success. (Not to mention, all of his albums went straight to number one on Billboard..)

Yes, REALLY. When he first came out I thought he was a cute kid with some talent.
Then I was shocked about his stupid line of nail polish. THEN the perfume.
THIS is disgusting and so incredibly greedy, and taking total advantage of all those tweens' parents money.
THIS is what happens when you are a greedy little turd and OVEREXPOSE yourself. People are sick to death of him.
I can't stand the sight of him, and I seriously wouldn't be surprised if he came out with a line of tampons.
So, YES REALLY, and I could care less if his mother read this!

You all sound so pathetically pretentious. !00% of the profits from his perfume go to charity. So much for him being "so incredibly greedy." He's a teen heart throb, he's not intended for you, he not trying to be. Get over it and move on with your pretentious lives.
