Lindsay Lohan Finishes House Arrest and Heads to the Hamptons?

Today is quite a good day for Lindsay Lohan. She ends her four month sentence of house arrest -- for stealing a necklace from a Venice, California jewelry store -- and her twenty fifth birthday is just around the corner, on July 2.

What better way to celebrate her freedom and turning a quarter of a century, than partying in the Hamptons? NBC's Today is reporting that Lohan's name appears on the guest list for the L.A. Takes Over the Hamptons party at a private residence in the swanky New York beach town.

When the troubled star's spokesperson was reached for comment they would not say whether she would remain in California for her birthday celebration or if she'd be making her way east. They did say however, "We're choosing to let Lindsay celebrate her birthday with family and friends privately."

This birthday could have been a very different scene if last week's court debacle had turned out differently for the starlet. She squeaked out of jail time after her failed alcohol test turned out to not be a violation of her probation. Perhaps her luck is changing? Let's hope she uses some good judgement on whichever coast she blows out her birthday candles.

If she's heading out to a party, then i doubt she is using good judgement. She's not done it before, why start now? I just hope she only hurts herself and not some other innocent person, she's NEVER going to learn!! And why should she, she never gets in trouble, so no impetus to change.

This girl is the biggest dummy I've ever seen. She's not going to learn anything from this because they were too lenient with her. She'll be back in trouble before long.

I just said the same thing about her getting into trouble again soon. I totally agree that they were too lenient with her. Every time she was brought to court it was just a big joke.

What are the Vegas bookmakers odds on her returning to the slammer? I'd say pretty good, this girl has not learned a lesson and will be circling-the-drain again before the end of the summer....She just has not shown any remorse and although she may look a lot older then 25, she has no mature sense of right and wrong. Period.
