'Tudors' star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was rushed to a Central London hospital Tuesday night after reports that he had taken a large quantity of pills in an attempt at suicide, according to The Sun. Now, a friend of the actor is speaking out, saying that Meyers' dangerous condition was due to a relapse rather than a go at taking his own life."It was not a suicide attempt," a source close to the actor told Us Weekly. "He did relapse and was hospitalized for that, but was released."
Paramedics arrived at the troubled star's Maida Vale home Tuesday evening to find Meyers "slumped" on the floor. But upon their arrival, the actor refused medical attention, prompting paramedics to call the police.
"Officers were called by London Ambulance Service following reports of a man refusing treatment," Scotland Yard confirmed. "The man was taken to hospital."

Tudors, one of my best TV series. Unlike myself I've been trying to take my own life. I constantly have suicidal thoughts in my mind, but each and every time I'm constantly fighting a battle in my brain. I don't have what it takes to seek help but im pretty sure Meyers does. Please help him seek the help he needs. As for me I will die here with all my trouble and problems. I really miss my fun life. I know there is someone out there who can help either with theraphy or whatever. HELP! HELP!! HELP!!!

i know we say suicide is the ultimate form of selfishness because it hurts his/her's family and friends but if you think about it, we're still being selfish ourselves. someone tries to take their life and our first concern is about how it affects us and our lives instead of whatever that person was going thru that made them take such a decision. I'm not saying anyone is a bad person for thinking that, its just something to think about.

Depression is a serious illness and sometimes the only symptom is a suicide attempt. Lost my baby brother at 18 to depression. Jonathan; so many people love your work and you as a person so please get some help. You are totally worth saving.
