'To Catch a Predator' Host Chris Hansen Caught Cheating

Chris Hansen is best know for exposing Internet predators on television, but the married 'To Catch a Predator' host recently found himself on the other side of a hidden camera.

Thanks to a National Enquirer sting operation, Hansen's cheating ways were exposed when he was secretly filmed sneaking behind his wife's back while on assignment in Florida.

According to the Daily Mail, the NBC host, 51, has been engaged in a four-month affair with Kristyn Caddell, a 30-year-old news anchor for an NBC affiliate in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Hansen and Caddell were filmed having dinner together at the Ritz-Carlton in Manalapan before they both went back to Caddell's apartment. Hansen was spotted leaving her apartment the next morning.

The couple reportedly first met when Caddell worked as an intern at the NBC offices in New York.

"Chris sends Kristyn flowers and tells her he loves her, but he still doesn't seem all that motivated to leave his wife for her," a source close to the couple said. "He's telling her he loves his wife too, but they've grown apart over the years, and she's not sure what he should do."

The investigative reporter currently lives in Connecticut with his wife, Mary, and two sons, but has been sending time in Florida investigating the disappearance of James 'Jimmy T' Trindade.

This is his wife's problem, not ours. She was legal, he was legal and on the bad behavior scale, this barely registers. He is guilty mostly of incredibly bad judgement, but no more.

Last time I checked cheating on your wife does not make you a sex offender or child molester, which Chris Hansen's stories are about. Pretty sleezy of the National Enquirer to set him up if you ask me. Reminds me of when the did the same to Frank Gifford.

Who cares? Was the girl underage? NO. This is more of a moral issue. Plus, you don't know anything about his marriage. Maybe his wife told him he could run around while he was away, you don't know. If she did, you just exposed a secret arrangement between spouses, making it worse.

Long days and nights in Florida...busy schedule, short sleep, pound a blonde, feel new vim and vigor in every corpusle and have a nice day. So what?

It's not like he's a politician who screws around while we pay for it. They were consenting adults and probably footed the bills themselves (or charged an expense account).

To Catch a Predator was a bad show, it was police entrapment and it was immoral. Hansen, to his credit, did nothing wrong. The woman is not a minor. It is a private affair.

To Catch a Predator was a bad show--police entrapment is never the right way to go. Police entrapment is illegal--all those cases were thrown out.

The point is, who really cares. It's not our business... it's "their" business... I don't care what people do, two people that are adults. Not my business at all, that's the point. We aren't perfect and who really knows why he did what he did and more importantly, who gives a crap! His show has nothing to do with his private life and really never thought he was "celebrity worthy" or should I say "celebrity waste of my time."

The fact is he cheated on his wife. In doing so, Hansen showed very poor judgment and moral character. If cheating on your spouse does not matter, then why the huge outcry when Clinton, Dave Vitter, Spitzer, Schwarzenegger, Larry Craig and Tony Wiener got caught?
