How Much Did 'Bachelorette' Ashley Make This Season?

Reality stars aren't always known for bringing home the bacon in terms of salaries, but there are always exceptions (we're looking at you, 'Jersey Shore' kids).

With the latest season of 'The Bachelorette' starting to wind down, we were wondering: how much cash did desperate-for-love Ashley Hebert bring in thanks to the reality show?

Way less than you might think.

According to Us Weekly, the former 'Bachelor' cast-off only made $30,000 for her two months filming the matchmaking show. And while her paycheck is hardly chump change, it's quite measly compared to the Bachelors and Bachelorettes that came before her.

The studio has reportedly shelled out up to $100,000 for past cast members on the reality dating competition.

And just to put things in perspective: ABC paid 2009 'Bachelor' Jason Mesnick and his love Molly Malaney $30,000 just for their two-hour wedding special last year.

Small pay check or not, Ashley was on a journey to find her husband this season and the recipient of her final rose will be revealed in the August 1 finale.

Ashley is mousy and unappealing on every level. She should be thankful that anyone is paying her anything to be on television. I can't recall a more annoying "reality star" in recent years.

Have to agree...she's "cute" but not what some of the girls in the past have been. She cries way to much, which is so annoying and the thing with Bentley..OMG vomit..dude was clearly a douche bag and she knew about him before hand, and he's the one she falls for...she must not be to smart in that sense..Her clothes with the exception of a couple dresses have been aweful..whats up with that.

Of all the girls, they picked her UGH!!!!! She is boring!!!! Very annoying the way she moves her mouth.She seems like a very desperate girl very pitiful!!!!!

Yes.....that annoying mouth....that can only utter "Hey Guys" and "Bentley." I think it is quite clear she will end up picking J.P. While in the grocery store this morning, I saw the front page of the 'National Enquirer' and it says "Ashley's a runaway bride...dumped her ex right before the wedding." Shows a picture of her homely ex, ugh. I hope J.P. (or whoever she picks) gives her the same treatment because he/they can do so much better.

At least I THINK I'm spelling it right! We certainly do NOT want Ashley to get upset with either of us!
I have to admit she IS one of the most ugly people I've ever seen on the show. Imagine her with no make-up, her hair is always flat, she looks like a little drowned rat that just came out of the woodwork somewhere.
OK, I've been mean enough for GODS Day, sorry guys!

Not everyone can be beautiful. I'm okay with the fact that she's just average, since average women out number the gorgeous one. That aside, I find that she has a lot of growing up to so. She's very insecure, voices her insecurity to the guys (which she should never do), and is kind of stupid. She was told about Bentley from the get go yet she fell for him in the time it takes to say, "will you marry me". She pined away from him without considering that he would have stayed if he was into her. Grow up, Ashley. Grow up.

I feel sorry for Ashley, but, at the same time, if she has that many insecurities she was crazy to put herself through this. (But how cruel were the producers to set up the "roast"?) She does need to get herself sorted out - she can never truly love someone or find someone who loves her unless she loves herself first. Her neediness is very off-putting. To say nothing of the crying.

Where do they get these bachelorettes, this one here is ugly, no TV appeal at all. All of them are flash trash in the pan. What a waste.

Even if Ashley does get engaged, it won't last. She is way too clingy, and no man wants that tight of a leash.

I stopped watching it because of this Bentley thing. I think the show did this bringint him back to make this year a little different. I also think she is being told to make people think she really likes him. Why would the show bring him back after telling us his feelings about not liking her. It is all fixed!!!

This is one of the worse Bachelorette's I have seen on the show. I only watch the last few minutes to see who leaves. I can't stand watching her whine. OMG!She acts like a teenage girl and not a grown woman. She needs to cut that hair...and get rid of those extentions... Ashley is one woman that would look cuter with her hair short.

I am curious to know why she has put her profession as a dentist on hold - I'm glad she's not my dentist! Very fickle and undecisive makes for a bad dentist. Also, is she actually a dentist? Last episode, she was going to school for dentistry and now they claim she is one - impossible!
