Friends and family of Ryan Dunn gathered on the Paramount Pictures lot this week for a moving memorial service for the late 'Jackass' star.According to MTV, 'Jackass' co-star Rick Kosick cut together part of moving video tribute, which features an emotional and humorous montage of Dunn's best 'Jackass' clips.
An original song written in Dunn's honor by Roger Alan Wade, "The Light Outlives the Star," is played over the second-half of the tribute video.
"Ryan was really crazy about my cousin Roger [who wrote the song]," Johnny Knoxville said. "He loved his music and really looked up to him. Rog' was equally as crazy about Ryan and, like everyone else, was shook by his passing. Rest in peace, brother. We love you."

Thanks for your 2 cents...that's literally what it's worth. RIP Ryan.
don't drink and drive

He did drink and drive and luckily he did not kill a innocent person just driving home or something but man cannot be judged upon a single action .He must be just on life as a whole and he made a bad choice and I am sure he would do different if given another chance but we get only one :(

what about the guy in the car with him that he killed i hope his "brothers" are doing something for that guy

Yes Ryan made a bad choice. No one is perfect. This is horrible for his friends and family. He lived hard and played harder..I think Ryan was an amazing friend. Those guys have a better relationship than alot of families have. I think he will be horribly missed by many..RIP Ryan Dunn

I have watched you guys for a very long time. I was always partial to you Ryan Dunn. I am sorry that you made the choice to drink and drive, and paid for it fatally. You will be extremely missed. You were dedicated to your craft of making us laugh. I wish I had gotten the pleasure to meet you, Bam, Johnny, and the gang. You guys have lightened many of my days. May God be with you on your journey, and your friends/family through their grief.

We all make mistakes...but no one mentions that Ryan was someone's son, someone's brother and a dear friend to many people. Let his friends and family remember him for the good times and the sweet man that he was.

Yes Norma and also a killer he did get someone killed because of his stupid actions.
That laugh, at the end, sounded like Jack Lemon doing the drunken King of Potsdorf, in The Great Race.

Yes he screwed up really bad and ended up paying for it the worst way. But I will choose to remember Ryan and all the silly things he did with a laugh and smile. Good luck as your journey continues.

I'm not saying whether it's right or wrong, but I can't help but wonder if all the kind words shown here regarding the tribute to this man would be uttered if he had been "just a nobody" who did the same thing. I really doubt it.

Glad it was only him who died, he deserved to die, he could easily have killed some innocent person, this guy was a retard of the highest grade, not talented at all and this only goes to prove how stupid he was and did not care at all for those around him, why make him out to be a star?? If a member of "public" drove a car while drunk we are up in arms over it, to me it is exactly the same. He is now in the ground where he belongs.

Ryan made one bad mistake, and paid with his life.
My prayers are with him, and his family, and friends at this sad time.
RIP Ryan.
