Maria Shriver Offered Record Breaking Deal for Tell-All Book

Maria Shriver has been offered more that $15 million as an advance for a tell-all memoir.

Shriver, who filed for divorce from estranged husband Arnold Schwarzenegger on Friday (July 1), is the most sought-after person in the book world, according to RadarOnline.com. A top publishing exec estimates Shriver could nab a book advance of more than $15 million.

That amount would break the all-time record of $15 million advance for former U.S. president Bill Clinton's memoir, 'My Life.'

Shriver is already the author of six best-selling books, including 'And One More Thing Before You Go' and 'What's Happening to Grandpa?'

But should Shriver decide to write a tell-all about her life, from growing up a Kennedy, her marriage to Arnold Schwarzenegger, his reported and alleged extramarital affairs and love child, the book could set all sorts of sales records.

As of now, there are no indications if Shriver would be interested in telling her story, but that has not stopped book publishers from putting offers to the former First Lady of California.

Shriver filed for divorce six weeks after Schwarzenegger publicly acknowledged that he fathered a child with the family's ex housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

In her divorce petition, she cites "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for divorce.

Whatever happened to keeping your personal life personal?? Ok they broke up the rest is their business, no need for a book, no need for a movie, no reason to go on a talk show unless of course its for money and you want the public to pay for your mistakes.

Unfortunately, Maria, like most of the Kennedy women did not age well at all. In fact, she's looking a bit rougher than most.

BUT, that doesn't change the fact that Arnie is a hypocrite and a dbag, and I feel really bad for her.

I agree with you. What is this crap that is happening in this day and time that being the female gives you the right to take it all and ruin the male. I realize that she is the injured party but there had to be something wrong behind closed doors to have her husband fall in the arms of another. She knows how to take care of herself and should be doing it.

Listen...Arnold has been giving the housekeeper money to loive on..helped her buy a house plus who knows what else...and yes half that money is Maria's....so yea she does deserve to get some of the money back...that he is spending...really it's a no-brainer!!!!

The nanny is an improvement? Over what? His marriage vows, his self respect, his responsibility to his children to be a good man and role model? He is the one who needs to get a life and a clue. And yes, she should get what she's entitled to. It doesn't matter that she has money of her own. I am sure they have many investments that they made during the course of their marriage and she will take her fair share.

Give me a break!! It's certainly not the "time" for her to "write a book"!!!! Good grief.......She's still very RAW from all this....and to jump all over her... dangling money in front of her.. She has plenty of money and does NOT need this enticement.. How low can the media go? Pretty low, from what I have seen. They have no respect for anyone.
