Nick Lachey Lets Loose at Vegas Bachelor Party

Nick Lachey is on the verge of tying the knot with longtime love Vanessa Minnillo, but first, 30 of the groom-to-be's friends made sure he enjoyed a classic Las Vegas bachelor party weekend.

On Friday, the 37-year-old 'Sing-Off host partied at TAO nightclub. In a casual white T-shirt, he mugged for paparazzi while showing off his black and red cake, featuring a ball-and-chain complete with "Property of Vanessa" stamped on top. Saturday included beach time and champagne, according to RadarOnline.

Guests spotted at the party included Jeff Timmons (former 98 Degrees vocalist and current Chippendales stud) and Houston Texans quarterback Matt Leinart.

Lachey has been keeping his wedding date mum, but his brother and best man, former 98 Degrees bandmate Drew Lachey, recently hinted: "It could be any day now."

When they do walk down the aisle, the happy couple will be putting their wedding on camera for TV viewers. Sound familiar? That's what Lachey did for his first wedding in 2002, when he exchanged vows with Jessica Simpson as MTV turned their marriage into the hit reality series 'Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.'

But Lachey insists the TLC special he'll shoot with his new wife is actually a whole different animal (the way chicken and tuna are different?).

"We kind of wrestled with that for a while, for obvious reasons," the star told members of the press Saturday in Vegas, about the decision to let TLC film his upcoming wedding. "Having done reality TV in the past, I didn't necessarily want to jump right back into it without having thought it through to great length. And we did."

He explained, "It's a one-off special, a chance to kind of have a great experience and a great moment in our lives documented on TV, and also for us, to have a great wedding video....This is a different process [than 'Newlyweds']....There's a beginning, an end, and then it's over, it's done."

Simpson and Lachey divorced in 2006, and the Southern singer has since announced her engagement to former football pro Eric Johnson -- but she's kept her wedding date a secret, just like her ex has. While the billionaire-to-be makes plans for wedding No. 2, she'll celebrate her 31st birthday next week.

As for Lachey's fiancee, Minnillo, 30, partied with friends last month at her own bachelorette bash in Las Vegas.

Nick Lachey is a jerk... he's obnoxious and thinks his sh** doesn't stink... he doesn't appreciate his own fans... he refuses to sign autographs... he could care less about the people who support him... I hope Vanessa Manillo knows what she's getting into... although, birds of a feather flock together... she's propbably as much of a douchebag as he is. YOU SUCK NICK!!!!!

How does this guy continue living the lifestyle that he does? He had a couple of very minor "hits" with 98 Degrees, and a short-lived reality series with his ex wife, but how does he continue living like he does?

Lachey is a moron.. Hasn't he had ANOTHER high profile marriage to Jessica Simpson, and a reality show on T.V. with her about "married life"??? Why is he acting like this is his BIG DAY.....this is his 2nd time around...so we will just wait and see how long this one lasts!!It's a mockery.. like he doesn't "blow it out" with his friends all the time, even when he is NOT getting married AGAIN.

I swear, the picture on the front page is DREW Lachey, not Nick. :

Actually, wrong on both accounts.

Her clothing "empire" might be worth that much, down the line, but she, personally, is not (yet) worth anything close to that.

Secondly, he did not get much from the divorce. Out of a "sign of love" on his part, he did not ask Jessica for a pre-nup (even though he was way more famous at the time of the marriage).

So he would have been entitled to much, but, according to published reports, he didn't ask for much.

Jessica you are so right! As far as I am concerned Nick was a true gentleman anyway you look at it. Furthermore, this man is hot...don't care what you say about him. He can sing and look good, right? Heck women just have to look good and get reality shows. Congrats Nick and Vanessa..you make a great couple.

Yes, it's a one-off special, until it airs and is a huge hit and TLC offers you your own reality show, and since you've got nothing else going on, you'll re-think the whole idea, justify why it's different this time, make a sh*t-load of cash, and lose another marriage in the process!
