RFK's Granddaughter Nabs Aaron Sorkin Role

Aaron Sorkin ('The West Wing') has created a big break in the acting world for a member of the U.S. Kennedy political dynasty. Insiders say Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy, 23, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., has just been cast in Sorkin's HBO pilot 'More As This Story Develops.'
The new project will reportedly co-star
Olivia Munn, Emily Mortimer, Jeff Daniels, and Dev Patel ('Slumdog Millionaire), and will take place in the world of cable news, according to the
New York Post.
Kennedy, who inherited her nickname "Kick" from her adventurous great-aunt Kathleen, is a Stanford graduate and recent Strasberg Institute acting student. The Sorkin series will mark her TV acting debut.
Her dad, environmental activist RFK Jr., has been romantically linked to 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' star
Cheryl Hines, an industry veteran who has allegedly played a hand in introducing the show biz newbie to Hollywood producers and casting execs.
As the Post points out, young Kick Kennedy's legacy isn't just in D.C.: Her great-grandfather and legendary family patriarch, Joseph P. Kennedy, co-founded a powerful studio in 1929 during Hollywood's "golden age." RKO Pictures employed the likes of Cary Grant, Fred Astaire and Katharine Hepburn.

Be nice.
Who would say something like that? You are an ignorant, nasty person.
I was thinking that she escaped the Kennedy features...big teeth, strong jaw and small eyes. She is rather pretty in a wholesome a,,-American way.
And I think her nickname is quite charming. I hope she does well.
Too bad we can't see you, because you problem look like a dog.Ugly people always say other people are ugly because they feel so ugly.
Stanford not Standford

Jbaer how do know you this girl can't act? This is our first chance to see her work. I think she's gonna be spectacular
And you know this how?
How would you know? This is her first appearance.
JBaer - your ignorance is on full display today.
It just goes to show it's who you know that gets you the breaks, not what you know or talent. Must be nice to have a family name you can trade on and not have to struggle and work hard like so many young actors and actresses trying to get their foot in the door.

a little envious?
Envious--yes probably with good reason..Seems nepotism is everywhere..Why should one get a job just based on name and not talent when there are so many talented people not giving a glimmer of hope or chance because they don't know the right people or have the right name..It is wrong no matter what profession it's in..I work in a local school where half the people are family members..People sub for years but cannot get in as family members seem to get hired. Not fair..It's amazing I got in or just pure luck!!!
Did I miss something? Where is her picture?

And her experience is...what? Oh, wait. The Kennedy family has had their fingers in the film industry since old Joe's days with Gloria Swanson. She doesn't need experience or talent. All she really needs is to cash in on her family name.
Nothing new here!

Look, I'm sure the fact her great-grandfather co-founded RKO, her grandfather was Attorney General and possible presidential candidate, and her two late uncles are anointed liberal saints had NOTHING to do with her selection! Don't be so cynical!
SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL GIRL...AND ANYONE WHO SAY DIFFERENTLY IS A LOSER DOUCHEBAG!
