Schwarzenegger to Pay Out 'Very Generous Divorce Settlement'

According to Radar Online, after Maria Shriver officially filed for divorce from estranged husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, the 'Terminator' reportedly agreed to give his soon-to-be ex-wife a "very generous divorce settlement."

In accordance with California law, due to a Community Property statute, all assets obtained during a marriage must be split 50/50. But according to reports, Schwarzenegger is seriously considering giving Shriver more than the state mandated sum.

"Arnold realized he is to blame for the collapse of his marriage," an inside source told Radar. "Maria was a loving wife and mother, and he doesn't think that any amount of money can minimize what he has put her through. He wants to do the right thing, and go above and beyond what is required of him under the law."

Shriver formally filed for divorce on July 1 and had previously hired investigators to ascertain just how much her husband was worth. Settlement discussions between Shriver and Schwarzenegger's lawyers have reportedly been underway for more than two months. The former California Governor, who fathered a child with the couple's longtime housekeeper, Mildred Baena, can total his egregious wealth to roughly $500-$750 million, the source divulged.

"This is going to be a very amicable divorce, and it won't be played out in the media," the source continued. "Neither one of them wants that. Arnold hasn't lost his mind, he is going to be giving away his fortune to her. He wants to show his children he is taking responsibility for his actions."

The press will be the last ones clued into the details of the divorce if the public couple has anything to do with it. Their lawyers will be conversing with a private judge who will rule on the settlement before alerting the presiding judge to the decision.

But one thing the couple has already agreed on are their views on how their two minor children -- Patrick and Christopher -- should be parented. Both Shriver and Schwarzenegger are seeking joint custody.

Arnold acted like a PIG he admits it and I admire him for that, but don't blame Maria or the Kennedy's they had nothing to do with what de did in their own home. If he was a real man shack up in a hotel, not your wife's bed. Pay up and shut up, and get this mess over with. There is to much more things in this world to worry about. AMEN

It is pretty disgusting and sad that the entire Kennedy clan is to blame for Maria.....NOT. No person should be held accountable for what their family does. Maria Shriver was a good wife and mother and got a huge kick in the butt from Arnold.
She did not cheat on him, he cheated on her. The Kennedys suffered because of the father Joseph who was a nasty and dirty old man. He cursed is family and they have lost all the adults as the result of his dealings and doings. Maria and her family did nothing and should not be slammed on by people who are hateful and biased. No one knows the real whys and wherefores of what the Kennedy family did. She deserves more respect then that.

Patsy, you should not judge every member of a family based on what some members did. I haven't heard of any evidence that Maria Shriver cheated.

What cheating men don't get is that they could have given their wives their lives back if they just confessed 13 years ago in this case. By lying, by having children after an affair the wife is living a lie she doesn't know about. Now she has Arnold's two kids when she could have had another marriage with someone else and THEY could have had two children. No amount of money can replace wasted years.
