Brooke Mueller on Sheen Roast: Don't Make Fun of Me or I'll Sue

Although we're pretty sure comedians will have plenty of material when it comes to Charlie Sheen's forthcoming Comedy Central roast, Sheen's ex, Brooke Mueller, wants to make sure the focus stays squarely on the maniacal warlock. Mueller is warning Sheen and comedians alike that if her name even comes up, she's prepared to sue, TMZ reports.

Although it may sound like the ultimate 'don't make fun of me!' playground plea, we get why Mueller may be pulling out all the stops to make sure she's not the butt of any jokes as Sheen's world of wizards and women is put in the spotlight on September 10.

Mueller insists that her name be "completely off-limits" during the LA roast and although the request seems a bit far flung, she may have some clout. In her divorce settlement with Sheen, the father of her two young twin boys, Bob and Max, agreed to never publicly talk about Mueller or her drug use.

"He better not go there," Brooke's reps told TMZ.

But if he does (which wouldn't be the first time) Mueller is prepared to send a letter to Comedy Central, demanding that they not broadcast any Mueller targeted jokes. But according to the network, they're not worried about other comedians taking jabs at Sheen's ex-wife, they're more concerned about the tiger blooded, machete wielding, winning warlock, himself.

"Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast which scares even us."

Hold onto your hats boys and girls -- and Brooke, lawyer up.

A divorce settlement between Sheen and Mueller has not validity against third parties and she cannot sue them unless the defame her and making fun of public figures is protected by the First Amendment. So her threat is pretty toothless.

I am so tired of hearing about this person -- I can scream and perhaps pull a few strands of my hair out (can't afford to pull more then 1 or 2). When do we stop feeding to these egocentric egos of celebs that have spiraled way out of control. If they need attention, which so many of them seem to do -- send them home to their mamas and papas. While I can do with out her, I have to say she is right, why should she be made fun off, just because she was marrying a known druggie. But then again so is she. When its about the money she is ok with it, but she knew what she married. It takes one to know one, mhm, Brooke

Brooke Mueller IS a joke. She wants to hold herself out as "immune?" I don't think you can sue if at a roast (or anywhere) jokes are made about what you have done and how you have lived your life. You own that so suck it up. No one can be sued for telling the truth, no matter whether it is being said as a statement of fact or in a parody.

So let me get this straight as I really don't know much about Sheen's ex. Is she admitting to drug addiction and bad behavior? So by bring it up she has told me something I was not aware of and she wants to stop others from talking about something maybe other people weren't ...I'm confused.
