Forget the fireworks -- for Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott, the fourth of July light show took place on her ring finger. Scott's drummer boyfriend, Chris Tyrell proposed to the 'Need You Now' singer over the holiday weekend, according to E! News.

The couple first met in 2010 while both were performing on the Tim McGraw tour -- nothing like a few tour buses and good ol' country music to get sparks flying. Scott was so immediately smitten with Tyrell that she even used her beau as inspiration for Lady Antebellum's newest tune, 'Just a Kiss.'

"Chris proposed exactly the way I've always dreamed," Scott said. "Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and -- in our workout clothes -- he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together."
