Oprah Winfrey's Next Role: High School Teacher!

Oprah Winfrey is back in the USA after spending time with her "girls" at the school she opened in South Africa, but don't fear, ladies, Miss O will be returning soon in the role of teacher.

"They were all stressed for tests, but doing fine," Oprah emailed fans -- including yours truly -- about her students. "No major crisis this trip. I love being with them and talking to them about all things important. When I'm there I'm talking from the time I get up till I go to bed, about EVERYTHING teenage girls are going through. It's the same all over the world."

Oprah revealed that she would be returning this fall to teach a class called 'It's Life 101' about all the stuff she wished someone had told her about how the world really works.

"Should be fun since I love to teach. And they're like sponges," Oprah said. "Like 12th graders everywhere, this first class is both anxious and excited about going to college. Most will be the first in their family. So it's a very big deal for them, and they're feeling the pressure."

Adding that there is nothing like leaving the USA to get a deeper appreciation of the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.

"When Chris Rock was last on the show he said, 'real wealth is having options.' I thought that was pretty profound," Oprah says. "I now stress to my girls that education prepares you to have options. Without it you have none. Just took a walk around the neighborhood watching sprinklers on the back lawn ... (I love sprinklers) Made me think about the red dirt road I traveled from
Mississippi (no sprinklers) to the here and now ... And how that journey could have only been possible in the USA."

I know it just sickens you all (racists)to think a black woman in America made all that money. She's able to do what she wants when she wants to. She can help as many people as she wants when she wants. Maybe, just maybe, if you had a little more love in your hearts, you'll be doing greater things aside from hating on Oprah Winfrey. I feel so sorry for you. You obviously have no idea of the ramifications of your hatred. What you loose on the earth will be loosed unto you. You reap what you sow. Remember that.

This cow is such an authority on life that she can't find a husband,has a food addiction and has never raised a child. Yet she's been giving advise to every bubble head that subscribes to her bs! She is a money and power hungry hoax who got lucky because a black woman was needed in television at that time. Period!.Wake up people!! Why not just donate half your wealth to Afrca and shut your fat pie hole Oprah. We're tired of hearing you already. You'll still have plenty left for ring dings and donuts.

Oprah is an extreme narcissist. She can't accept that her days as a media hog (no pun intended) are all over. Even her OWN Network is floundering. At 57 years old it's time that senior citizen Oprah goes into permanent retirement.

I am making a difference in this world she is not. I am going to school to be a real teacher here in the USA. She is going to Africa due to she can't get a teaching degree here in the states, because she is not willing to put the work in to get it. This is just like she is not willing to put the work in her failing T.V. networks or her 50million dollar sirius contract thats a joke. WHAT A PHONEY.lEAVE YOU WILL NOT BE MISSED.

You...a teacher. You sound too stupid to teach anybody anything. With people like you teaching kids it's no wonder our education system is suffering. Oprah could get teaching certification anywhere. She already has education. You need to get some.

I am so grateful that Oprah hasn't forgotten the poor disadvantaged black girls in the world. She's a great role model for women everywhere and a true example of what it means to really care about something in life besides superficial crap. Continued love and blessings for Oprah.

Reading these posts really speaks volumes on race relations in America. Same ole stuff......Not shocked by it at all.....Or maybe it's just a bunch of silly people on line today.

My heart goes out for Oprah I have no regrets for the treatment that I received from her. I believed that an american citizen has the right to express what ever their views of the world. Whether they are right or wrong. Because she believed in Obama she has lost all of her fans and supporters, and now it seems like she is giving up her country for the mistakes she has made.
It is a shame most people can not find for giveness in their hearts. I wish you well Oprah, even though I do not believed in your theory.
