Maria Shriver Buys $10 Million Mansion Near Schwarzenegger's Home
Maria Shriver may have wanted out of her marriage with soon-to-be ex-husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, but she isn't moving far from the couple's formerly shared home. According to
TMZ, Shriver is buying a $10 million home in LA's Brentwood.
Shriver's new home will be in the same exclusive community where the former governor's mistress and lovechild have
recently been spending time with her estranged husband. The close proximity of Shriver and Schwarzenegger will ensure an easy transition between homes for the couple's two minor children, Christopher and Patrick.
Shriver has reportedly been looking at real estate for the past six months and her current deal on the multi-million dollar pad is reportedly in escrow and should close soon. The $10 million investment is chump change compared to the sum Shriver should be receiving in her divorce settlement from Schwarzenegger.
'The Terminator' is reportedly worth $500-$750 million and has made it clear that he intends to be "very generous" when dividing the couple's wealth. With a new home and a cushy bank account we're sure that Shriver can begin building her new life.

I guess I'm in disageement with a lot of you bloggers. I think shes a beautiful woman, and still very desirable. As for the remarks on their parenting skills, I only know them from his movies, and her Kennedy name. I know diddly about them personally, and will not judge either one. And unless any of you know more, STFU!

There was never a need to fawn over "poor" Maria when Arnold was busted. Most marriages are for convenience anyway after the kids reach high school age. She has more money then she will ever need, as well as family and friends for support. She doesn't need the poor little rich girl tag. I'm sure she is more than happy at this point or at least I hope she is.

While the two younger children may choose to spend time with their failure of a father, one of his older children has already changed his name to Shriver. Personally, I think she is moving a little too close for her own good. Southern CA has many affluent areas that she could have chosen and would still have been convenient for Schwarzenegger to see his legitimate children.

That's a good move on Maria's part. With the price of gas it will save money for holidays when Maria, Arnie, The Maid and all the kids can be closer. I've heard through the grapevine that Maria has sleepovers at Arnie's house Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The Maid's sleepovers are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Arnie gets Sunday off to REST.
