'Jerry Springer': We Never Made Monetary Offer to Casey Anthony

After reports began to swirl that 'The Jerry Springer Show' was offering Casey Anthony $1 million to make an appearance with her family, the show's execs are now saying that the supposed monetary offer is completely false.

"There is absolutely no truth to this story whatsoever," 'Jerry Springer' spokesman, Gary Rosen said in a statement. "'The Jerry Spring Show' has not made any monetary offer to Casey Anthony and her family to appear on the program, nor will we."

The rumored appearance would have marked the Tot Mom's first public words following her first degree murder charge acquittal. Original reports detailed that the show presented the offer to Anthony's legal team on Friday morning, an offer that would then be taken to Anthony and her family -- who supposedly had to appear on the show with her in order for the deal to go through.

"The offer was made to Casey's defense team Friday," a now incorrect source told Star magazine. "They are interested. The should would get huge ratings. The family will be presented with the offer shortly."

But even before the alleged appearance was squashed, we had a difficult time believing that the deal would go through if it meant Casey's father, George Anthony had to present. During her trial, Anthony's defense argued that the way she dealt with her daughter, Caylee's death was brought on by her own early childhood molestation, at the hands of her father. Anthony's legal team also made the case that she did not immediately report her daughter's death at the instruction of her father who 'intimidated' her. It is unclear, after Anthony's not guilty verdict shocked people across the nation, whether she will be living with her parents following her July 17 release from jail.

With a potential civil trial still on the table, many believe that making a talk show appearance almost immediately after her criminal trial would have only further cast Anthony as one of America's 'most hated women.' But, at the same time, a million dollar payday may have been exactly what Anthony needed to reclaim her life -- a life that will forever be emblazoned with the scarlet letter of her daughter's still ambiguous death.

But now that the offer has been deemed as a false report, just like Caylee's death, we'll never know what Anthony would have done.

lets be clear about one thing: the sleaze in this situation are the people who would actually watch an obvious murderer get paid for killing her own flesh and blood.

I did not know Jerry Springer has murderers on his show?
I would think that the people on his show and watch it, are not into this type of criminal activity. I am confused , He should then invite to his show OJ , and maybe he could hook up
Joran Van der Sloot with Casey Anthony, Joran may take care of her.
I will Never watch this show again if I hear Casey Anthony made money from him for harming little Caylee and then lying about it.

Casey Anthony and her relatives have the right to decide on which show they want to appear on, but I would not watch their appearance on Jerry Springer as I do not like his abrasive way of doing things.

Reclaim her life-is that what the author said?? Too bad her daughter can't do the same-oh but lest we forget Caylee was thrown by the side of the road with duct tape around her mouth-but oh yes a widdle heart to show she was loved. Yep Jerry Springer-bottom of the heap-I think this is the trashiest piece of show on tv-can't believe they would even stoop so low to PAY here to appear on it. DON'T WATCH IT PEOPLE!!!!!!As long as she is profiting from it she'll never go away. Did you all hear that a tree that was beside where Caylee's body was found was struck by lightning? Even God is expressing his opinion about this-and I don't think He's happy either.

The simple solution is why don't you ask Mr. Jerry Springer if it was his granddaughter would he want some one to offer that kind of money to a murder? Put his family in the same predicament and maybe he'll think twice on what he offers people that get away with murder so their ratings can go up. It makes me sick!!
