Gisele Talks Brady, Biz With GQ

(June 17) -- If you thought supermodels were just mindless drones used to sell and show off clothing, Gisele Bundchen is proving she's the polar opposite.
Whether it's her reported $35 million income, her boyfriend (New England Patriots QB Tom Brady) or her Oprah-like business model, Bundchen's got more exposure (and yes, money) than any other model in the game. It's simple: "I get there, I put on the clothes, I leave it on the hanger, and I go home," she says.

Bundchen was a bit hesitant to discuss her current boyfriend Brady, but did offer the world a glimpse into their lives and what makes them a couple. She recalls first seeing a picture of him, and thinking "not too shabby."
In the GQ interview, Bundchen says she's not quite sure the $35 million that Forbes claimed she made last year is an accurate figure. "I would like to know who this reporter is finding out all of these amounts. And I would like him to talk to my accountant and figure out where is the cash that's missing. Because I haven't seen it," she said. She went on to say that Brady is "cute, but if he has a girlfriend, he's gay to me."
Brady did indeed have a girlfriend at the time -- Bridget Moynahan, who had Brady's child after they broke up and he started dating Bundchen. Of their first meeting, Bundchen says: "Our friend knew that we would like each other. And we did. So I guess he was right."
She describes Brady as "a really great person. He really, genuinely doesn't have a bad bone in his body. And he is a very positive person."
Bundchen also talks a bit about her past relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio. During their time together, tabloids reported everything from the two getting married to Bundchen being pregnant (apparently false).
"I've had my heart broken," Bundchen says, adding that she thinks "you can have your heart broken by your friends that you trust ... I think sometimes you have high expectations for people because you have high expectations for yourself."
