Oprah's Long Goodbye Begins With Tears

With her eyes welling with tears, Oprah Winfrey looked directly at her viewers on Friday to explain why she will be ending her show in 2011 after a quarter-century on the air. It was prayer and careful thought that helped her decide, she said. "I love this show. This show has been my life. And I know when it's time to say goodbye."

"Twenty-five years feels right in my bones and feels right in my spirit."

Winfrey offered no specifics about her plans for the future, except to say that she intended to produce the best possible shows during her last 18 months on the air.



3OH!3 Pulls a Gaga For the Woodies

Eliza Dushku Doesn't Expect To Ever Play In 'Dollhouse' Again

Scores of Joss Whedon fans were disappointed to hear that his latest show, 'Dollhouse' has been canceled by Fox. We'll get to see the remaining episodes, and they had the news in time to wrap up the story, but that's cold comfort for most of us. We caught up with star Eliza Dushku on the red carpet for the US Weekly Hot Hollywood event, where she was being honored as "Cult Fave of the Year". While she dashed our hopes of 'Dollhouse' continuing in comic book form, she said she'd like to be part of the upcoming 'Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog' sequel, and that her Robert Mapplethorpe biopic (which she has been working on for eight years) is finally getting made.
