If the Dallas Cowboys lose their NFC playoff game against the New York Giants this Sunday, don't blame Jessica Simpson. The pop starlet will not attend the game to cheer on her new boyfriend, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

Cowboys fans and players alike have been openly critical of this new relationship, citing Simpson's presence at a December 16th game as being part of the reason why Romo had, statistically, the worst game of his career. Ironically, his previous worst stats were last season when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood attended the Dallas versus Philadelphia game.

Fans have also expressed disappointment over the time Simpson and Romo are spending together. The two vacationed last weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with her parents and a few of his teammates. Romo had to defend the trip to the press, arguing that it did not take his focus away from the upcoming game.

Simpson's publicist says she will watch Sunday's playoffs from home, as she is busy working on a new album. The effort, a country record, is expected for release later this year.

Fergie and her boyfriend of three years, 'Las Vegas' star Josh Duhamel, are getting married! The 32-year-old 'Dutchess' and her 35-year-old actor boyfriend, who starred in 2007's blockbuster film 'Transformers,' broke the news Wednesday.

"Fergie called a lot of her girlfriends today to tell them the news," a source close to the singer told People. "She said they don't know what kind of wedding they want yet, but that she is the happiest girl on earth."

Jessica Simpson came out to support her new man, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, at his home game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Wearing a pink number 9 jersey, the pop singer cheered her boyfriend of one month from a luxury box in Texas Stadium.

However, the blonde bombshell may have been a distraction for the 27-year-old pro athlete as the Cowboys lost to the Eagles 10-6, ending a seven-game winning streak for the home team. Romo ended up finishing with 13-of-36 for 214 yards, had three interceptions and suffered an injury to his throwing arm in the third quarter. Ouch.

The game marked a career-low quarterback rating of 22.2 for the San Diego native. His previous bottom number was logged last December when his then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was in attendance. Keep your eyes on the ball, Romo!

As much as gossip mags and celeb-obsessed citizens would like us to believe that John Mayer is two-timing his girlfriend, 'Friday Night Lights' star Minka Kelly, Ricki Lake denies any romantic link with the rocker. "I swear to God, there is no story," she told PEOPLE on Wednesday. "I met him at a party. He admitted he had a crush, and I admitted, hey, vice versa. That was it. I wish there was actually something to tell. There was nothing."

Last week, Page Six reported that the pair exchanged numbers and got close at an event in New York. Then, on December 11, John Mayer told 'Access Hollywood' of his soft spot for the TV personality. "I have had a huge Ricki Lake crush," he said. "When you meet someone that you've had a crush on when you were a kid, you go, 'Hey! I've had a huge crush on you since I was a kid!'"

Since then, new-couple rumors involving the pair have circulated the Web and tabloids, but Lake has called them "completely overblown."

Long before he came out of the closet, Lance Bass pulled a Britney Spears in Las Vegas. The singer-turned-author is owning up to a quickie wedding in Sin City a few years ago. He told E! News that back in 1999 or 2000, he tied the knot with a girlfriend after a "wild night." He says, "You know, it was one of those crazy moments where you're with a friend and you're like, 'Hey, wouldn't it be fun if we did this?' and that's all that happened. It's the Vegas thing to do."

So just who was this friendly bride? Bass won't name names. He only says that their "five minute marriage" didn't sour their friendship. He even admits that the wedding was really just a quest for complimentary booze.

"The only reason we did it is because we wanted to get free drinks all night," Bass tells E!. "And we didn't get one. We're like, 'We just got married!' They're like, 'Ah. Whatever.' "

Bass publicly announced he was gay last year. But in an ironic twist, he admits he came out to Spears the day after her quickie wedding in Vegas, as a means of making her feel better about the publicity storm that was inevitably about to brew.

TMZ recently spotted them holding hands and getting cozy in L.A. where they're rehearsing for their upcoming 'Idol' tour. She won't put the plastic surgery subject to rest, but 'American Idol's' Kellie Pickler is talking about her new man, hockey star Jordin Tootoo. Jordin (that's Tootoo, not Sparks!) is a forward for the Nashville Predators and the two have been dating for five months now.

"We've been seeing each other since January, but we kept it under wraps," Kellie tells Us Weekly.
