Exclusive: 'American Idol' Stamps Revealed

'American Idol' is giving back to the community by putting your favorite contestants on postage stamps. Each Thursday, Ryan Seacrest announces which former winner graces the next 'American Idol Gives Back' stamp, but we have your exclusive sneak peek right here every Tuesday.

This week's stamp will be (drum roll please!) Season Five winner, Taylor Hicks. The limited-edition stamps already revealed include Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia, Carrie Underwood and Ruben Studdard. New photo stamps will be released each week featuring an 'Idol' winner until this season's finale, after which the new winner will get his or her own stamp.

The stamps, which can be used for actual postage, all benefit 'Idol Gives Back,' a program helping the less fortunate around the world. For each stamp purchased, $10 is given to the charity. Only 2,000 stamps will be printed for each winner in each of the 50 states, so the stamps will likely dramatically increase in value. You can purchase them at www.photostamps.com. See pictures of the postage after the jump.

New Playlisting Features!

Hi Everybody,

We are very excited to announce our new song and video playlisting experience on AOL Music! Creating a playlist is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

1) Select any video or song you want to add by clicking the + button next to the song or video. If you don't see an add button next to an asset, check back again soon, as we get new assets all the time.

2) If you haven't already created a playlist, you can click on 'create new playlist' in the add flyout. Make sure you are signed in so that all options are available to you. If you don't have an AIM screenname, they are free! You can get one at www.aim.com.

3) If you are creating a video playlist, you can also add to your video quicklist. This is a special list that you can access even if you aren't signed in. But if you don't want to lose your list of videos, make sure you sign in and save your quicklist as a playlist!

4) If you are creating an audio playlist, you can also add songs to your now playing queue. This adds the song to your audio player, but doesn't interrupt the song you are currently listening to.

5) Once you've created a playlist, you can keep adding songs or videos to it. Create as many playlists as you'd like.

Creating a playlist is just the half of it. Once a playlist has been created, you can edit the name, add and delete videos/songs, shuffle the order and share w/ your friends! Not only will you be able to view your playlists, but you will be able to check out your friends' playlists as well. Along w/ all of that, you can also create an RSS feed which will allow your friends to get updates every time you add videos/songs to your playlist.

If you have already created a playlist, you can still access them at this URL: http://video.aol.com/my_library

We hope you all enjoy this new feature and remember to stay tuned, as we will be rolling out new features and improvements to playlists in the near future. As always, let us know what you think at aolmusiccomments@aol.com.

Tips and Tricks: New and Improved Music Search

Hi Everybody,

We have just launched a new and improved music search that now makes it easier than ever to find your favorite content!

Now, instead of choosing which category you'd like to search in (Video, Songs, Artist, etc.) you can just search an artist or song name and Search will do the rest.

Take a look at the example screenshots below:

1) When you search for an artist the results will be placed into different categories all on one page:

2) The categories are separated into Artist matches, Videos, Songs, and Albums

3) Results are ordered by exact matches (sorted popularity) and then non-exact matches.

In the coming months we'll be launching new search categories, including news, photos, and blog posts. Hope all of this info helps and that you enjoy the new Music Search!

As always, send us your feedback and let us know what you think.
