Patrick Swayze, who's very publicly and openly battling pancreatic cancer, was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Friday for pneumonia just before making a press appearance for his new show. Swayze was supposed to be doing a press junket for A&E's 'The Beast,' but instead was hospitalized, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Ryan O'Neal pleaded guilty to a felony charge of drug possession on Friday afternoon and agreed to enter an 18-month drug deferment program. "Ryan was anxious to move on with his life with privacy and dignity and that's what we're trying to do here today," his lawyer told PEOPLE.

Lillo Brancato Jr., the 'Bronx Tale' and 'Sopranos' actor who found himself in real life trouble after a botched New York City burglary in which an off-duty police officer was killed, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Brancato was acquitted in the death of the police officer, but convicted of attempted burglary.

Jermaine Dupri was unceremoniously let go from Universal Music on Thursday. Dupri, who served as president of Island Records Urban Music division, basically collected a paycheck but didn't show up to work for several months. "After [his girlfriend] Janet Jackson's album and tour bombed, he didn't come back to work... he just lost heart," sources told Page Six.

"I thought Brandon Walters and Hugh Jackman were wonderful. It's just impossible for me to connect to it emotionally at all," she told Sydney radio station 2dayFM. "I can't look at this movie and be proud of what I've done."

Cheryl Holdridge, a popular Mouseketeer during the original run of 'The Mickey Mouse Club,' has died at age 64 after a two-year battle with lung cancer. "Annette (Funicello) had the highest rating, but Cheryl came pretty close," former castmate Doreen Tracey recalls of the angel-faced actress.
