Last week, PopEater teamed up with NiceOne! to see how celebrities sized up this year by letting our readers vote on various Thanksgiving polls -- and apparently they've all had enough of Kanye West, naming him 2009's Biggest Turkey. With 42% of the total votes, he beat out the likes of Spencer Pratt and Jon Gosselin. Video: 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' Midnight Mania
The fans (and fangs) were out Thursday night for the AMC Loews 34th Street midnight premiere of 'Twilight Saga: New Moon.' The film phenomenon brought out Twi-Hards from all over New York City for three sold-out shows. PopEater was there to catch the pandemonium and chat with fans about the movie. We also checked out the scene in St. Louis, Missouri, where fans anxiously waited in line at Ronnie's 20 Cinema.There may be a rift between members of Team Edward and Team Jacob, but there was one thing they were all looking forward to: seeing the two heartthrobs lose their shirts. 'Guido'-Touting MTV Show Has Italian Group Molto Mad
With muscle-shirts, fist-pumping and drunken spray-tanned buffoonery aplenty, MTV's 'Jersey Shore' reality show has one Italian-American group up in arms over the way the show is being promoted. Calling the show "trash television," the group UNICO is taking offense to MTV's tout of the show featuring the "hottest, tannest, craziest Guidos" and wants the show canceled. Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie discovered first-hand the method acting madness of her 'Nine' co-star Daniel Day-Lewis when she received love letters from the eccentric actor written as his character Guido. "Daniel is very charming. I'd go into my dressing room, and I'd find this little note. I'd open it, and it would be Guido's stationary. He would write me little notes as Guido. They were very cute and very charming," Fergie revealed at a press conference on November 15 at The Waldorf Astoria in New York.
