'New Moon' fever exploded over the weekend, as the second installment of the 'Twilight' saga opened up with $140.7 million in its first three days and pulled in a total of $258.8 million worldwide, according to studio estimates.

'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' kicked things off with the biggest Friday opening of all time with a whopping $72.7 million Friday, beating previous record holder 'The Dark Knight' which opened in 2008 with $67.2 million on nearly 800 more screens.

The Office's Jenna Fischer was being honored as "Employee of the Year" at US Weekly's Hot Hollywood party, and we managed to grab a few moments of her time. Her character Pam is pregnant this season and Fischer told us that even she has no idea if it's a boy or a girl.

Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin could be about a month away from finalizing their divorce, after a successful day at the arbitration table in Pennsylvania on Saturday. According to TMZ, Jon won't fight Kate for primary custody of their eight kids and neither party is seeking spousal support. The two main issues still on the table are distribution of assets and child support.

The day began as many reality dating shows typically end: with roses. Jon showed up at court with a bouquet of long-stemmed red's for Kate -- a peace offering of sorts. However, she turned them down. His lawyer had a pop culture reference in hand when discussing the flowers.

The most famous glove in the world also happens to be the most expensive. Michael Jackson's rhinestone-studded white accessory worn during the moonwalk seen 'round the world (at Motown's 25th anniversary special), was purchased by a Hong Kong businessman on Saturday for $350,000. Plus tax.

The glove was the highlight of an auction featuring other King of Pop items at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square. Pre-auction, the glove was expected to snag about $50,000.

New York police shut down a mall appearance by teen pop singer Justin Bieber after thousands of young girls showed up and got a little too wild. Nassau County police say girls and adults in the crowd of nearly 3,000 started pushing and shoving as they waited for the 15-year-old sensation to arrive Friday at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.

But Bieber never made it into the building. He told WBLI radio that police turned him away and even "threatened to arrest my mom and I."
