'Fringe' star Anna Torv visited the PopEater offices to discuss her hit FOX series. Even before his 'American Music Awards' performance became the most talked about musical TV appearance since a certain singer (cough cough Janet Jackson) flashed America during the Super Bowl, Adam Lambert knew that his brazen style and love of theatrics was going to be polarizing. "If you are in the public eye and you are a certain type of persona, you're putting certain ideas out there you're bound to have people look up to them. You're also bound to have people who completely reject them and hate you for it," Lambert told Popeater exclusively when we visited him in the L.A. offices of his management team, 19 Management. "I could be somebody's role model, but on the flip side I could be somebody's worst nightmare at the same time. You never know how you're going to affect people, being in this position." We're guessing there's a pretty good chance that writer Ian Halperin won't be stopping by Star Jones' house for some Thanksgiving dessert after a heated standoff on 'The Insider' on Tuesday night. Halperin, who was on the show to discuss his new book about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt titled 'Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,' caught the brunt of Star's anger when she began questioning his writing style and ethics. After calling Halperin and his writing "sleazy," Halperin shot back that he wasn't going to "spar with Star, because I'll knock her out in a heartbeat." Can't we all just get along, guys? Donny Osmond was declared the new champion of 'Dancing With The Stars' on Tuesday night, taking home the show's mirror ball trophy in the season finale of the ABC contest reality program. Osmond, the former teen pop star of the singing Osmond family, said the show has been a highlight in a career of ups and downs. "I did it!" Osmond exclaimed. He promptly rushed to the audience and plucked out his wife, Debbie, whom he carried across the stage. Helping push Osmond over the top was his performance Tuesday: an Argentine tango, performed with his professional dancing partner, Kym Johnson. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba hailed it as "artistry in motion." It earned the top score of the final performances Tuesday.
