(Oct. 17) - Angelina Jolie has denied having a role in Brad Pitt's very public breakup with Jennifer Aniston in 2005, but in a recent interview, she contradicts herself.
Jolie sits down with the New York Times, and talks about many things, including 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith,' where the baby-hoarding couple met for the first time, while Pitt was still married to the 'Friends' star.
'The Changeling' actress says one day their six children will get to see the violence-packed flick because "not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love."
During filming of 'Smith,' rumors of a budding relationship between Pitt and Jolie spread, but they refuted claims of an affair.
However, right after Pitt announced his divorce from Aniston, Angelina and Brad were together -- months before the split was finalized.

Christian Slater Q&A

Oct. 10 -- On NBC's 'My Own Worst Enemy' (premieres Mon., Oct. 13 at 10 PM EST), Christian Slater plays Henry Spivey, a suburban husband and father of two with a normal job, a dog and a minivan. He's also Edward Albright, a secret operative who can speak 13 languages and is trained to kill. When these two very different sides collide, things get interesting.

The star of such cult classics as 'Heathers,' 'Pump Up the Volume' and 'True Romance' talked to us about making what feels like a mini-movie for TV each week, being the Captain Kirk to his male co-star's Spock and his movie roles that he'd love to revisit. -- By Maggie Furlong

    1. Your co-star, 'Mike O'Malley,' has compared you two to Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble -- which classic duo do you think you two are most like?

[Laughs] Fred and Barney, I like that! But I like Kirk and Spock -- we actually did a scene today together and, as we walked away, I said, "Nice job, Spock." That's how I kind of see it.

    2. O'Malley's background is mostly comedy -- with 'Yes, Dear' and a guest stint on 'My Name Is Earl' -- what's it like working with him?

He's awesome. And this show is the first time he ever did a fight scene, and he's a total badass. You should see him in his tactical gear the guy looks gorgeous and sexy and ... [laughs] yeah, he is a total badass.

    3. What made you decide to do TV?

I read this pilot and went "Wow" -- I thought that if I'm gonna do something on TV, this would be it. I would've been nuts to not do it. To show up and get to do this show -- I mean, I am genuinely having a great time. It's really fun, and it doesn't get boring. What the writers have done ... it feels like they're kind of unleashed. They're just being as creative and as wild and crazy as they can possibly be.

    4. It's so action-packed -- does that make it feel like making little movies?

It does -- that's actually what [NBC co-chairman] Ben Silverman said he was gonna do with this particular show, is put a movie on TV every week. And as far as I can tell, that's what we're doing -- the characters are just getting richer and more interesting as we go along. It's fun to go there and play these two characters.

    5. There are always rumors about a possible 'Heathers' sequel -- would you be up for that?

Yeah, sometimes I see Winona [Ryder] and she's like, "Are you ready to do 'Heathers 2'?" And I'm like, "Sure!" I would do it in a heartbeat. I would totally love to do that character again -- J.D. We'd have to have a scene in there where's he's watching 'The Shining' or something, you know? We'd have to see that he's collected all of Nicholson's movies. Just to really make sense of it all. [Laughs] That would be like a dream come true for me. So we'll see -- if they want to put something together, I'd be thrilled.

    6. Any other characters you wouldn't mind revisiting?

I liked Happy Harry Hard-On [from 'Pump Up the Volume'] -- I thought he was great. A character who was well-written, entertaining and a fun guy to do ... and heartfelt. I think I always identify with that sort of character, who is secretly wild and crazy and publicly very shy and closed off. I like that kind of double identity and personality, like a Superman thing.

    7. And kind of like 'My Own Worst Enemy' ...

[Laughs] Like 'My Own Worst Enemy.' It does all tie together ...

SO?????? I think everyone involved is OVER IT. Why call them 'baby hoarders'? What kind of biased bs is this baby hoarders and who gives a flying sh*t if they had an affair or not? It is obvious this was meant to be so leave them alone to live their lives and raise as many children as they want. They seem to adore each other, something I never saw Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston display....so leave Pitt-Jolie alone. No wonder they moved to FRANCE.

Mikkomogoo, tell me how you got into Brad's and Jennifer's home with them. I would love to know. That would be the only way you would have first hand knowledge of their business behind closed doors.Just like everyone else you are just assuming, the problem is they were still MARRIED or don't you understand the meaning of the word married. Which is something Brad and Angie still are not!! That ought to tell you something right there. It doesn't matter what went on behind closed doors between a husband and his wife, another woman has no right to sleep with her husband. IT IS WRONG IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT!!!Some people are just trash, and don't know how to act around people who aren't.

Look......I wouldn't have half the problem with any of this if Angelina had stepped back and waited until Brad was divorced. Like I said...do the math.......the divorce wasn't final until October, full-term baby Shiloh was born in March. Full term babies aren't full term in 5 months, which means that Brad & Angie were sleeping together while he was still married. The last time that I looked, that was called adultry. People will try and justify it (the marriage was already over, she didn't "steal" him..etc...), but it is what it is....wrong. Which tells me that neither Brad nor Angelina have good morals, or they wouldn't have had an affair and they would be married, setting an example for their wedlock babies. Everyone is entitled to theor opinions, and this will always be mine regarding the two.

She didn't contradict herself. "Adultery" is a specific thing. It would be possible for the two of them to have a "budding romance" involving conversation, without adultery. That could lead to Pitt deciding to get a divorce, again without adultery. Not saying that's the case, but it's a reasonable and self-consistent possibility.

I am so tired of everyone saying "poor Jen" The Only reason their merriage lasted as ong as it did was that they were hardly ever together. When they were together all "poor Jen" did was yell at him and call all the shots. They were not the perfect couple and he needed to find someone who cared about HIM and not be making false promises. I think that Angelina is the best thing that has happened to him. She is/was not a homewrecker. Their marriage was over long before the public knew. Oh, and his parents adore Angie. I KNOW this to be true. Stop believing the tabloids...

Also, do you know these two intimately? Of course not. Neither one would stop to give you the time of day. Also, I would like to point out that I am in no way jealous of this woman. Why?I am married to the man I love - willing to make that commitment. My children are grounded with stable lives, friends and activities. Plus (and maybe not so important) I bathe them, and they don't look like street urchins

TexasWhat you type is true. However, there is a thing called class. These two have handled themselves deplorably and without a modicum of class or decency.
