(Dec. 18) - The 'Bride Wars' actresses Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson have had a tough year in the love department, but they're not letting it hold them back. In the new issue of Modern Bride, the two stars open up about weddings, friendships... and getting tipsy at the reception?! "Drunken shenanigans? I'd love to say that I have absolutely no experience in humiliating myself with drunken dancing in public, but unfortunately that's not the case..." Hathaway recalls.

Hudson agreed. The most important things to remember on the big day are to "make sure you're ready to get married. And number two, have really good placement of the bar!" she said. "At a wedding you want to have a good time. Have special cocktails that are really fun for people," Hudson added.

Excerpts from Hathaway & Hudson's Interview

Hudson on the bond between friends: "We all need girlfriends. At my sister-in-law's wedding shower, my mom said, "I want you guys to look around at each other. At the end of the day, men come and go. Sometimes reality can be difficult, but the girlfriends you are next to allow you to work through the things in your life. Because when trouble happens with boys, it's your girlfriends who hold you up."

Hathaway on perfection: "I gave up my struggle with perfection a long time ago. Be happy. Be yourself. But if your lifestyle is not as healthy as it should be, and it's motivation to try something new, maybe that's for the best. I know Kate would advise everyone to take a pole-dancing class!"

Hathaway on why girl friends should come before guys: "Most likely they will be the most fulfilling relationships in your life and if not, certainly the most consistent. This idea that you're always there for each other, no matter what... whether you are single, engaged or married. Think about how much power that gives you in life!"

Hathaway on her ideal wedding playlist: "I'm not the sort of girl who dreams about her wedding. But you know what I find myself doing every once in a while? Putting together my ideal wedding playlist. I haven't thought about the food; I haven't thought about the look; I haven't thought about my dress. I haven't really thought about the guy... but every once in a while, I'll listen to a song, and I’m like, 'I want that at my wedding!'"

iI wish Kate was more like her mom, Goldie has all the class in the world. But Kate does lack that.
