What irritates me the most about celebs and their children is that the tabloids play them ALL up to be like the best, most loving parents in the world who could not be a second w/o their children! Volumes and volumes of words about how the chlid is the best thing that happened to them, how they cannot be w/o the child for a second, how they take them everywhere, how they are the most important thing, etc. etc. etc. Well, the 'real' parents that I know like to get away from their children once in a while. They cannot take their children to work while the nannies watch them and bring them for a hug at break time. The 'real' parents I know would be basket cases traveling with 6 children (i.e. JoliePitt gang) w/o nannies, tutors, maids, and handlers of all kind.I get sick of these tabloids playing up these parents like they are super duper parents never leaving their children behind. Give me a break.To me, the kids that seem well-adjusted are the Posh kids and you don't see them han...

You have to realize that it is based on two factors - One: they are inexperienced parents who are in the limelight and are extremely paranoid - and believe the child could be kidnapped or worse. This is understandable. But then there is number two: Tom Cruise is crazy - well let's say Howard Huges eccentric. The only reason Katy gets out from his thumb is to make money because his career is in the toilet and he isn't bringing in enought to support their life style. Otherwise she would still be behind lock doors too. They are trying to brainwash her to their (His) beliefs - he can't accomplish that is she is exposed to normal life styles and other children and parents. Both Katy and Suri might get the idea that there is something better out there like freedom of speech and life. Even Fun. Unfortunately, Tom has a lot of skeletons in his rainbow closet and he needs to be in control. But give it a little while longer - maybe six months to a year - and Katy will break free. S...

Nas24, your daughters have had each other to play with and have not been secluded from other children. My heart breaks for Suri, what a lonely little girl she must be, all because of the wacko beliefs of her "not all there" parents. To me, this is child abuse.

I have 3 daughters each eleven years apart, 27, 16 and 5. All three of them have stayed at home with me exclusively until they started school and my two oldest have turned out to be social butterflies once they started school. I'm homeschooling my youngest to keep her at home with me one more year and then she will attend public school. My girls have turned out just fine with no regular play dates in their younger years.

How lonely can little Suri be? She's 2 years old and her brother and sister are teenagers. Suri's mom is on the road, so naturally she would go with mom. Brother and sister are in school, so they stay home. Suri's life may not be the traditional norm, but it is becoming the norm for her. I'm sure Suri will be just fine. Stop picking on her; just leave her alone.

The one other thing I want to know is with all their money -- why does Suri go around with hair that obviously needs to be cut?? I mean get her a trim so she can use her eyes..!!

You always see Suri around other kids, but never really playing with any of them....Tom Cruise's other kids obviously play with other kids, they are in sports -- so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before Suri is involved in things like that. When my 3 children were small they didn't have a lot of playdates either. Of course my boys were 18 months apart and my daughter came when they were 4 and 3 1/2 so they had each other....my heart breaks for all these celebrity kdis because I don't see how they can have even a normal child hood....status aside, how do kids like Angelina Jolie's kids attend a regular school for regular times when they are travelling all over the world? The media has shown pics of Angelina Jolie dropping her kids at Preschool -- so at least they have that. I am happy to see that at least the parents spend time with her -- not always staing home with a nanny....but it does appear that she is somewhat sad --

I would not be surprised if this were true. Scientology people tend to stick to their own anyway in a reclusive way.She's too young yet to understand her loneliness, I'm sure.
