(Jan. 13) - Kate Hudson swears there is nothing going on between her and Australian golfer Adam Scott, but photographers snapped the two of them together on a beach in Maui.

Scott himself even disputes knowing her well, WENN reports.

"I'm not here with her but I know Kate. We met here (for the first time). We have a mutual friend so we met through him," he says.

Well, it looks like they became friends pretty quickly.

Hudson, whose divorce from Chris Robinson was finalized in October of 2007, has also been linked to Owen Wilson, Lance Armstrong and most recently, Alex Rodriguez.

Oh, Puh-leeze! I stood side-by-side with Steve Tyler in a que once up in MA; that didn't mean I was "with" him. My boyfriend took a picture of me backstage with Bob Seeger in a concert in Boston years ago - AND HE HAD HIS ARM AROUND ME. That doesn't mean I banged him. I also have a photo of me standing close to Stevie Nicks backstage at another concert; that doesn't mean I'm lesbian.Leave the lucky, the wealthy, the pretty, the handsome, the fish-bowl citizens of this world alone.
