I THINK MOST OF YOU ARE NUTS. ALL THIS ATTENTION TO TWO PEOPLE THAT ARE HAVING A CHILD. A MAN THAT IS 53 AND HIS WIFE THAT I'M SURE IS YOUNGER. OLDER CHILDREN FROM ANOTHER MARRIAGE. REALLY!!! THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME......AND THEY AREN'T MOVIE STARS. AT LEAST THIS COUPLE WILL SUPPORT THEIR CHILDREN. THINK OF ALL THE CHILDREN THAT JUST CAME ABOUT BY ACCIDENT. TO: jeronimosquest : First, if you are naming yourself after the great Chief, check your spelling. You sound like a jealous person. You're entitled to your opinion, but if you weren't interested, why read the article? Do you get your kicks knocking other people down? Too bad for you. Kevin Costner is not perfect. No one is. BUT, I'm happy for him and his wife, Chistine. I don't see anyone putting down other people for fathering late in life. Age is just a number. How you act and feel is really your age. No one said a thing about Tony Randall fathering a child in his 70's and no, Kevin is not 70. So, get over yourself. Realize there are poeple out there who find love and a happy life at different ages. Be happy for people who find happiness in this world that is also full of misery.

Why is it that in America we can just dipose of our first life, our commitments to our spouses and children, and just move on to the next marriage and family as if it is our God-given right to only think of what makes US happy? The goal of marriage is unity, not necessarily happiness every second. People marry in front of God, promising in sickness, health, better, worse, etc. until DEATH parts them. Turns out 3 out of every 4 people don't mean it. Kevin Costner and his new "wife" will reap what they sow. Maybe not here on earth, but they will answer to God.
