(Oct. 13) -- While it's no secret that the paparazzi go to great lengths to get photos of Hollywood stars, Ashley Tisdale wants the world to know that one actually broke into her house hoping to snap some photos.
Talking with Access Hollywood, Tisdale tells of one incident in which an eager paparazzo took things too far. "They broke in, they came into my home before," the 'High School Musical' starlet said. Tisdale says the agencies and photographers "don't want middle America to know this is what they do to try and get pictures."

Efrons Scary Moment

The Daily Mail reports that a 'deranged' man wearing glasses, seen pictured, yelled and pointed at 'High School Musical' star Zac Efron, and then lunged and tried to grab the actor's hair.

Tisdale says the photographer "broke in an entry and went into the hall and followed my stylist." After a quick phone call, "The police were there and they [told me], 'you could say it's a robbery.'"
She goes on to say that she hasn't seen that specific photographer again, but warns that "they go to an extreme for pictures."

Breaking into a private residence is against the law. Trespassing on private property is against the law. Blocking the path of a motor vehicle on a public street is against the law. And there are countless other laws these papparazzi (photographers) violate every day. I realize that in most cities, law enforcement is spread pretty thin. But someone, somewhere, somehow needs to take a stand, and start writing tickets or arresting these "people", confiscating their cameras, hitting them where it really hurts, their pocketbooks. Now, please don't get me wrong. There are a lot of photographers out there who are law abiding professionals. They understand and respect the law, and as such, would probably appreciate the crack down. However, the "free lancers" and "papparazzi wannabes" would be the ones getting into trouble. Law enforcement has turned the other way long enough. Sic 'em!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so let me get this straight. Some sleazeball breaks into a young woman's home to get a money shot, and all you people can do is argue about whether the person was a photographer or paparazzo. Don't you think that is just a little bit moronic? What is frightening is the fact that you people will be helping us choose our next president in about three weeks.

lj surf---if you are referring to the photographers that is what they are called in this country. in europe they are known as paparazzi, and noone referred to them as that in this country until the death of princess Diane. with everyone reading about the death of princess diane, and hearing the photographers being mentioned as paparazzi there it just sort of caught on here. i still prefer to call them as photographers, and i can think of different names for them, but it wouldnt be nice ! intruders would be a nice name........

In Florida if this photographer entered my home I would empty my 45 Kimber into him or her and they would egress in a body bag.
