(Jan. 5) - Actor Tim Allen and his wife Jane Hajduk are expecting their first child together, his rep told PEOPLE. "Tim and Jane are ecstatic about the upcoming birth," the rep announced Monday. The baby is due in the spring.

The couple married in October 2006 in an outdoor ceremony in Grand Lake, Colorado after dating for five years.

Allen, 55, has a 19-year-old daughter, Katherine, from his previous marriage to Laura Deibel.

Old men should NOT be father children. According to a Mayo Clinic report their sperm cells get old and slow too and can also lead to children with birth defects. There is also something gross about an old guy fathering a child anway. Tim Allen always seemed like a chauvinistic male anyway. In reality women want men their own age, they really don't want to wake up to an old craggy face and saggy stomach and chest when they can have a nice young guy their own age w ho looks good!

My Husband is 15 years older. We have 2 kids together, he has 5 from first marrige. It worked out just fine.(42 years married).

Love is where you find it. My fiancee is 25 and I'm 54. Lots of judgemental out there if you choose, but she Loves me so What's the Problem. Dating 2 years has cleared out any cobwebs and made us close as friends as well.

will not tolerate it in a few years, it is unacceptable behavior and shows no family values at all...//HEA DUDE? WHO died and made you God? You cannot legislate morality. If Tim and wife are happy, that is what is important. We all need a little happiness in our lives. That is what family is all about. GET A LIFE.
