>Goddess Noir Hate to tell you but weight does have a lot to do with having a healthy pregnancy. I was doing just fine too, no weight related problems, high blood pressure or any of that stuff. But you know what, my body couldn't take all the extra weight and my water broke 3 months early and my son spent 3 months in the NICU. He's happy and healthy now but had I lost weight before getting pregnant I could have avoided a lot worry and pain.

TMeyerjam 12:10 AMNov 06 2008 Is 160 lbs really a healthy weight for a female? It seems heavy to me.Stupid comments like this explains why there are anorexics and bulimics.

The mom's overall health, not her weight, determines the health of the pregnancy and the health of the child. I began my pregnancy wuite over weight but, I am a healthy -not eating all kinds of junk food and sitting on my butt fat-. I have had a perfect pregnancy, none of the complications I am "supposed' to have. If she wanted to lose weight, that is fine, good for her. But, don't behave as though losing this weight is going to be better in the long run for her child. With all of the surgeries, and yo you dieting shes done, her body is probably a mess.

Got knocked up to a 3 min Beatles song...Talk about premature ejaculation. Was the dude screaming "I Buried Paul" after he shot his load? Did he flip her over and scream Helter Skelter. When he was through did she yell "HELP'? Did she yank on his Yellow Submarine? Did she want it in her Bungholo Bill? Was he humming All my Loving? Did he have Norwegian Wood? When he went down on her did she mumble I am the Walrus. Were they singing Come Together? was she screaming Please Please Me? These questions must be asked........

I've had six sons, and only gained an average of 22 pounds per pregnancy, and left the hospital weighing less than before I got pregnant. NOT EVERYONE gains weight over and above what they should. Losing weight (if you have a weight problem) cuts down on incidence of gestational diabetes, high blood pressure and toxemia... so quit it already, becasue she was more responsible before conception than some people will ever be.

I just cannot understand this obsession with someone's weight, especially musicians and movie stars. If one would just take a look at the movie stars of the forties and fifties, these men and women were not rail thin gym rats. The men had physiques and the ladies were voluptuous. They looked like real people. The stars of today look like they'd get lost in a bamboo grove, they're so thin. I've always thought Carnie Wilson was GORGEOUS, even at her heaviest weight. It's what's inside that counts, not what's outside. Carnie, CONGRATULATIONS and BEST WISHES for a HEALTHY PREGNACY!! YOU DID WELL!!

She only got knocked up because she wanted an excuse to pig out and balloon up again. We all know she loves her donuts. If you're going to fail at every diet and surgical procedure known to man, you can always blame the innocent baby about to be born to a lard ass.

Good for her! I'm glad she thought about her health and the future babies well being rather then just nip tuck and get knocked up. As someone that has struggled with her weight since the birth of my son, i am inspired by people like her. you go carnie!

Wait a second. This is a grown, adult, 40 year old woman. Who are ANY of you to sit there and say that she should or shouldn't do anything? She had one child, who is loved and cared for. What do any of you really care that she lost weight and now deliberately got pregnant again? She's not asking YOU to pay for her weight loss surgery, nor is she bothering you with any of her problems. This is her life, her decision. It doesn't affect anyone but her, her husband, and her child. Get a freakin' grip.
