Bad Boy
Who: Donnie Klang
Album: 'Just a Rolling Stone'
Single: 'Take You There' (featuring Diddy)
Hails From: Levittown (Long Island), NY
For Fans Of: Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake
Why He's About to Pop: Last year, Donnie Klang went to "make the band," but he scored his own solo record deal instead. After appearing on 'Making the Band 4,' Sean "Diddy" Combs was so impressed by the then 22-year-old singer that he felt he should get a separate contract apart from the group. Klang has just released his debut album, 'Just a Rolling Stone,' a title that the singer came up with while recording a song with producer Seven Aurelius. "[Seven] had an instrumental," Klang explains. "He told me to go in the booth and 'record whatever is on your mind -- just speak from your heart.' I ended up talking about how I feel like I'm getting bigger and bigger by the day, and the chances of me finding a girl that's real for me is getting less and less. Basically, I'm just a rolling stone." Catch Donnie Klang at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, September 7, and on select dates around the country through November 8.

Five Questions with Donnie Klang:
What's your favorite song on the record?
My favorite is either 'Pick it Up' or 'Catch My Breath.' 'Catch My Breath' is just timeless. One of my biggest dreams is to have a song be huge on the radio and then when I'm performing that song for tens of thousands of people -- once the first note hits at the arena -- everyone goes nuts. That's 'Pick it Up' to me.
If you could have any musician's career other than your own, whose would it be?
Will Smith. He has a very balanced career between TV, film and music, and he's always been a positive influence.
If we looked inside your refrigerator, what would we find?
Milk, eggs, water, chocolate syrup, whipped cream. On top of the fridge is Count Chocula with marshmallows ... slammin'.
What are the most played songs on your iPod?
Depends on my mood. I love OneRepublic's music, love the new Pussycat Dolls stuff and of course I've got to practice my new album 'Just a Rolling Stone.'
What did you think life as a musician would be like when you first started out and how does it compare to what it's really like for you now?
I didn't realize how much I'd be away from home, but it's really awesome getting to see different parts of the country, even if it's brief. It's definitely a lot of work, but there's so many moments that make it all worth it.
