Why They're About to Pop: This Minneapolis five-piece released their self-titled EP this April, and generated a tidal wave of buzz with their infectious summer anthem, 'No One Can Touch Us,' featuring Alex Gaskarth from All Time Low. Their highly anticipated full-length, 'Come Around,' due on September 23, was produced by Motion City Soundtrack's Josh Cain and mixed by Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, the Starting Line), and showcases the band's penchant for vibrant melodies and catchy lyrics. Sing It Loud have built a loyal fanbase with tireless touring and will continue to do so this fall as they embark on a month-long stint with Valencia beginning August 27, and take on the Sassyback Tour with Cobra Starship beginning October 7.

Three Questions with lead singer Pat Brown:

What inspired the songs on your record?

When I write music, I definitely write about what hardships I'm going through and the positive things that are happening in my life. At the time we were writing and recording, I was in a very up and down -- roller coaster relationship -- so all of the songs that I wrote on the album were inspired by the good and bad times of that.

If you could have any musician's career other than your own, whose would it be?

Bjork, because I'm obsessed with her.

What did you think life as a musician would be like when you first started out and how does it compare to what it's really like for you now?

I thought it would be a gigantic party. I had no idea how much work goes into it and no clue there was a business side of it. I remember watching Blink-182 and New Found Glory DVDs in junior high and high school, and seeing them just act silly and goof around. That's all I thought it was. However, even though there are serious sides to it, it is even more fun than I could have imagined.
