Chris Gaines wasn't an 'alter ego' of Garth Brooks, there was actually supposed to be a movie (and that CD was a pre-sound track CD for that movie) but when the execs got more mail disliking the whole idea of Garth Brooks having an alter ego and questioning the whole thing, the movie was shelved. Brooks was commended for 'taking risks' with his music and career but honestly without the movie and only a mockumentary and a pre-sound track for a movie that was never seen it made Brooks look rather lame for wanting an 'alter ego'. -----------------------------------------------JBaer10314 08:47 PMNov 19 2008 Anyone remember the last time a singer created an alter ego? Anyone remember the last time a singer created an alter ego? It was Garth Brooks, who once recorded under the name Chris Gaines. It turned out to be one of the biggest blunders in music history. Maybe Ms. Knowles won't fall on her face in the same way, but she should've recorded this album as herself. If I were a fan of hers--which I'm not--her alter ego wouldn't hold any water with me.

K, I want to know who the hell are these people commenting...Yes the name Sasha Fierce might be way off for Beyonce but she's got it going on in every way...She has a great voice and is very talented...Oh let's not forget how beautiful she is.. WTF... Tyra Banks has nothing, NADA, on Beyonce people get it together.....she's never been a rapper, and she's not going anywhere, anywhere....she's here to stay for a long time...

Some people have a reading comprehension problem, Beyonce is not a rapper, the article states she is an R&B singer.
