(Nov. 18) - In an MTV special entitled 'Britney: For the Record,' the on-the-rise-again singer opens up about her life now.
In the interview, Spears discusses how she feels now that she is under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears, The Daily Mail reports.
"I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail, y'know, there's the time when you're gonna get out. But in this situation, it's never ending. It's just like 'Groundhog Day' every day."

Britney doesn't believe all the precautions are necessary, despite her breakdown in January which led to her hospitalization.
"I think it's too in control. If I wasn't under the restraints I’m under, I'd feel so liberated. When I tell them the way I feel, it's like they hear but they're really not listening."
"If you do something wrong in your work, you can move on, but I'm having to pay for a long time," she adds.
And although she's back on a successful path, the singer seems sad about the turn her life has taken.
"I never wanted to become one of those prisoner people. I always wanted to feel free. I think I've learned my lesson now and enough is enough."
Britney even opens up about her marriage to Kevin Federline, saying she "married for all the wrong reasons," Usmagazine.com reports.
"Instead of following my heart and, like, doing something that made me really happy, I just did it because...for just, like, the idea of everything."

I think she still needs help for a little while. Evn if it's just a good honest assistant with Britney and her boy;s best interest at heart and keep the wolves at bay.

Kat, Britney is a troubled young woman and needs conservatorship badly. Yes, she is an unfit mother and if you can't see that I feel sorry for you. The courts in California gave the kids to that idiot Federline, what does that say about her? She deep psychiatric intervention and until that happens she should be kept out of the public eye and be forced to stay away from the kids.

I think it's total bullsh*t that she is under control of anyone. she's a grown woman. If she's unfit as a mother, then give the kids to someone who can care for them. But I don't understand and have never heard of this type of thing. It's crazier than her behavior. I don't even care for her, I'm not a fan but I think she's being unfairly treated. TOTAL B.S.

Come on! She is trying hard to get her life back to what it was, and you people just keep right on ripping her apart. My opinion is still her manager should be investigated and punished for what he did to her!! I would love to know what kind of drugs he was giving her to keep her under control??? Because up until she let him in her life, she was like everyone else and all of a sudden she lost it and no one sees that! This man should be ashamed of himself! She has a way to go but I think she will make it all the way, But with comments that are being made on here some of you people are not being fair! Give her a chance to rebuild her life without your smart ass comments! HANG IN THERE BRITTANY AND JUST PAY NO MIND TO SOME OF THESE PEOPLE THEY DON'T LIVE YOUR LIFE YOU DO!

I'm sure it is very hard on Brittney to understand what's going on right now. Give her another year and she will start seeing the real world, who she is and how to control the urges that jump into her head. Sounds to me that Lnoft97 is more of the crier or maybe even jealous. It's probably harder on Brittany than the average person because her every move is blasted all over the papers. $$$ has nothing to do with mental illness and people can go years thinking everything is the way it's suppose to be because that's all they've known. Brittany is doing everything right, getting on the right road and her dad is a great help. She will recover and when she does she will look back and be thankful for all the support she has gotten and she will be very thankful that her dad was there and never gave up on her. Hang in there Brittany, the good times will come.

Dear Britney: Please be happy with your life. If you were not a star, your parental rights would have been already terminated. That's what happened to me.. And I don't have drug problems and the other stuff has been "under control." I haven't seen my son since he was 8. He is nearly 14. I will see him when he is 18. four long years. You have come a long way. Keep up the good work. Hug and kiss your children all the time.. Be thankful, please. You could have winded up like me...

I am so disgusted with the media for giving these limited talent Hollwood freaks so much attention. All they do is make it fashionable to have bad behavior, be selfish and narcissistic, and have no accountability. No wonder this country is so f'd up

MICKO, you belong in the same institute that Brit should be in. You must be mad to even compare Brit to the Beatles. There not even on the same planet. The Beatles make Brit look like Barney the dinosaur singing a kiddie song you fool.

MICK033052 08:14 AMNov 19 2008 Britney is one of the greatest musical geniuses of our time. Perhaps of all time.MICK033052 08:12 AMNov 19 2008 Britney is bigger than The Beatles. More talented, too.***************** YOU'RE OBVIOUSLY BRAIN DEAD... GET BACK ON YOUR "MEDS"; BUT QUICK!!! THAT TRAMP CAN'T SING WORTH A DAMN... DOESN'T PLAY "ANY" MUSICAL INSTRUMENT... AND CAN'T WRITE HER OWN MUSIC. THE MUSIC SHE HAS RECORDED... IS FORGETABLE... HAS NOT, AND WILL NOT, ENDURE; WHEREAS, THE BEATLES' MUSIC HAS BEEN AROUND FOR NEARLY FIFTY YRS. (AND, STILL GOING STRONG), FRESH AS EVER. SOOOOOOOOOOO... WHERE'S THIS GREATNESS YOU ALLUDE TO, VIS-A-VIS, SPEARS?
