I can only figure the people writing the bs about Cook being gay are those who are not only Archuleta fans, but were Clay Aiken fans who pretended to be so "shocked" when he came out. I have news for you whackos and smear merchants -sexual orientation has NOTHING to do with music, musical ability or talent. I am much older than most people on this board and incorrectly assumed that this generation would be far less bigoted than my own. I am sadly disappointed by so many who think if they try to smear Cook as "gay", it will somehow ruin his career. But FYI, the man is not gay. I wouldn't care if he was, but he isn't. So you sad sacks who think if he is "tarred" with that label, it somehow means his music isn't worth listening to -get a life.

The reason some of these Archie fans write the gay crap is because they are worrying about Archie. The end.

I don't even know why I am responding to the comments about David being gay...they really don't warrent a response. I think what bothers me is that you people do not have a clue. David is a loving person. His friends mean the world to him and yes he is a hugger. He hugs his fans while doing autographs and he was constantely hugging the other contestants on AI (both men and women) if he felt they needed it. Just because he became friends with MJ and hung out with him does not mean they were together. MJ's wife may have something to say about that one. Do yur research before you post stupid comments about people unless of course you are just jealous...

That's the trouble with AI, all the putting down of one of them to try to build the other one up. All it does is makes people look stupid and petty. In other news I bought this, I love it. It's very contemplative, makes me feel all pensive when I listen to it. Great song.

Rudedogman -what are you doing at this site then? If you are such a "purist", then why would possibly care about a pop/rock artist in the first place? Go back to encouraging those living on the edge hoping they too can someday make that breakthrough to mainstream.
