"I dragged Amy into it and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road. I ruined something beautiful," he claims.
He believes leaving her is the right thing to do. "Now I have to let her go to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love."
"I have had to live with that for the past year that I have been in prison and I have got so much remorse," he adds.
Winehouse's struggles have been well documented in the media, including a stint in rehab, several trips to the hospital and strangely erratic behavior.
Blake describes how his wife got hooked on drugs and self-mutilation.
"I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her. I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty."
"The first time Amy took crack she asked me, 'Can I try a bit of that,'" he explains.

"Crack is the nastiest drug. It makes you paranoid, unreasonable, edgy and totally suspicious of everyone. And you can get hooked on it straight away. But I was weak and an addict and I let Amy take some."
But Fielder-Civil wants everyone to know what a great wife Amy was.
"What people don't realize is that Amy is an amazing wife, an amazing home-maker and a beautiful figure in the home. You would be surprised the domestic bliss you can have with Amy just doing the cooking and caring for you. But because of drugs we can’t have a normal life together. That's why I have to let her go."

Poor Amy, such a GREAT Talent, and all she really needs is someone to take over and HELP her. Look at what a come back Brittney Spears had, her father took COMPLETE control. When they are in that state, they don't understand and cannot make a decision to get help, someone needs to intervene and FAST. As for her husband, I think he is a COWARD. You love her!!!???? Well i'm sorry, but you have a DUMB A** way of showing it. Stay with her and HELP her if you truely love her, if she loves you, you will completely PUSH HER OVER THE EDGE!

No, he should stay away from her. They even tell you that, I've never been hooked on drugs or alcohol, no reason to, it would not solve any of my problems, or anyone else's. But staying away from addicts is best. She looks like hell, I can't stand looking at her picture.

Oh Boo f**king Hoo! Amy Winehouse destroyed herself. Yes, her bum of a husband introduced her to the drug culture, but she is to blame for her own habit, and she is the only one who can fix it. Let there be no more pity parties in the press for Miss Winehouse. People need to stop enabling her. She is an alcoholic and a junkie. If she doesn't get clean and sober soon, then the next press release could be her obituary.

It's called"TIL DEATH DO US PART"...This pu**y bit*h claims he MADE her a drug addict, yet he's going to leave her in her worst state?!? How weak. He should be the one holding her hair back while she de-tox's.

Amy need some self esteem and some self respect which she should already have by being a singer people admire. Her ex was a druggie and ruined himself with street drugs but he did not pipe them into her. She chose to do them. Aerosmith, also drug users, got the help they needed and went from being dragged-down and haggard to energy filled stage musicians that people could look up to and respect. She needs help but probably won't seek it.

wow under no circumstance should he leave her it might push her further into drug abuse . to those ppl being asses about her situation , I had a friend die of a heroin overdose ,it is not an easy drug to quit, there are many reasons as to why people pick it up but we shouldnt judge others ,when we ourselves arent anybetter ,...

I think the only hope for Amy is to be taken away from her present environment and watched over for at least a year...even if she gets off drugs for a few weeks, she will continue to be mentally addicted. If she were kept away from crack for a year, and got accustomed to eating healthy food and exercising a little, and got some activities to keep her busy, it might make a difference and save her life. I think she is a great singer.

The way I see it, she is near death. I don't get it, why aren't people in her life doing more to intervene and get her the help she so obviously needs. I'm surprised she is still alive, but as long as she is alive there is hope. She is not beyond help, but she is the one who needs to admit it and do something about it. Sadly she is still seeking that first high, and thats probably what keeps her hooked. I hope her husband is someone who can inspire her to get the help. By filing for divorce, he is creating more desperation for her. Why file for divorce ? Help her to help herself. Now that he is clean and sober, he should be reaching out to help her, not pushing her down even further. A divorce might push her over the edge of the cliff she is standing on. I thought wedding vows were, for better or worse, in sickness and in health. My god, she stood by him when he was in jail.
