OK!
(Nov. 26) - Some poor soul at OK! Magazine may lose their paycheck (Happy Holidays!) for misspelling Ashlee Simpson's name on the cover of its latest issue.
Instead of two e's, the editor went the e-y (Ashley) route. It's a big mistake for a print publication, and a rep from the tabloid admitted that much in comments to Page Six: "It is highly embarrassing and, sadly, someone will probably be fired."

If she gets worked up over this, she needs to be bitch slapped. I'm sure she's a Mensa candidate when it comes to spelling too. More free press.

Jessence yeah I know there are important issues like the economy, IRAQ etc. But I would reather when I'm online to get away from those issues and read the lighter stuff like sports, entertainement news & gossip. You should know full well when clicking on Popeater that you are not going to get news on IRAQ or the economy if you want to read those issues then click those headlines and not entertainment.

Considering the way journalism majors?? are these days, nothing is unbelievable. In the Star News of our town, never a day goes by but they don't have plenty of misspelled words, and grammar usage screwed up. For instance, one day they had an article about prostate problem indications; "week" flow of urine", I asked the writer if this went on for a week or was it supposed to be "weak'??Quality is not what it used to be in any of the news articles, be they tabloid or journals or newspapers. It just goes to show how mediocre people are.

Considering how so many of the articles are ENTIRELY incorrect and fabricated, a tiny typo doesn't seem to be a problem.

Are you joking? A person is going to lose their job because of an e or y? The people who buy those rags, can't spelll or read anyways, they only look at the pictures. OK, wake up, your rag isn't a spelling bee contest, so who the hell cares? You don't care about the truth anyway. What about the idiots that report false stories and are proven to be false, are they still working for you? Why don't you idiots quit making your money off the backs of celebs that owe you nothing but for some reason you feel you have the right to lie and make-up and print whatever you want.GET OVER YOURSELVES, HOW MANY RAGS DO YOU SALE?
