(Oct. 14) - Hank Williams Jr.'s latest hit isn't about drinking or football or the burden of being in his famous dad's shadow. No, in "McCain-Palin Tradition," the country music icon aims his lyrical venom squarely at the "left wing liberal media," Democrats in power, and Sen. Barack Obama for his association with '60s radical Bill Ayers.
With Governor Sarah Palin nearby on stage, Williams surprised rally attendees in both Virginia Beach and Richmond on Monday with the song, cheerfully set to his hit "Family Tradition." Watch It Here:

After starting the song off with a condemnation of the media, the 59-year-old singer then focuses on financial matters and the mortgage meltdown, making it clear whom he believes is to blame.
"This old union's got problems. That is plain to see. The Democrats bankrupted Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, just like 1-2-3. The bankers didn't want to make all those bad loans. But Bill Clinton said 'you got to!' Now they want to bail out. What I'm talking about, is a Democrat liberal hoodoo!"
In "McCain-Palin Tradition," the living legend compares Palin to a "Mama bear in Idaho," and promises that she'll stick up for families.
"She'll protect your family's condition. If you mess with her cubs, she's gonna take off the gloves, that's an American female tradition."

'McCain - Palin Tradition'
By Hank Williams Jr.

The left wing liberal media have
Always been a real close knit family
But, most of the American People
Don't believe em anyway ya see
Stop and think it over
Before you make your decision
If they smell something
They're gonna come down strong
It's a McCain - Palin tradition

Now this old Union's got problems
That is plain to see
The Democrats bankrupted Fannie Mae N Freddie Mac
Just like 1, 2, 3
The bankers didn't want to make all those bad loans,
But Bill Clinton said you got to
Now they want a bail out, what I'm talking about
Is a Democrat liberal who doo

CHORUS
John N Sarah tell ya
Just what they think
And they're not gonna blink
They don't have terrorist friends
To whom their careers are linked
Yes, John is his own man
And Sarah fixed Alaska's broken condition
They're gonna go just fine
We're headed for better times
It's a McCain - Palin tradition

I am very proud of our country's name
But no society is perfect
And we have had our stains
If I'm down at the coffee shop and
Somebody starts to give our flag friction
We say please move on
Cause we're standing strong
That's an old John McCain tradition

CHORUS
John N Sarah tell ya
Just what they think
And they're not gonna blink
And they're gonna fix this country
Cause they're just like you N ole Hank
Yes John is a maverick
And Sarah fixed Alaska's broken condition
They're gonna go just fine
We're headed for better times
It's a McCain - Palin tradition

Some are bound to tell you I'm
Preaching to the choir
And that is very true
And we are going even higher
Like a mama bear in Idaho
She'll protect your family's condition
If you mess with her cubs
She's gonna take off the gloves
It's an American female tradition

CHORUS
They all want to know Sarah
Why do you hunt
John why do you fish
How could she be so smart and savvy
Such a 'hey good-lookin'' dish
Yes John is his own man
And Sarah fixed Alaska's bad condition
They're going to get it right
We're going to see the light
It's a McCain - Palin tradition

The song's chorus is pure love for the GOP ticket, although ABC News notes that certain lyrics differ from the live versions and the official lyric sheet handed out by Sen. John McCain's campaign. One portion on the cutting room floor is the line about "terrorist friends," possibly an attempt to tampen down on media criticisms that some rally events are getting, as Hank would say, too rowdy.
First Chorus, Live Version:
"John N Sarah tell ya just what they think. And they’re not gonna blink. They don't have terrorist friends, to whom their careers are linked. Yes, John is his own man. And Sarah fixed Alaska's broken condition. They're gonna do just fine. We're headed for better times. It's a -- McCain-Palin tradition."
First Chorus, Campaign Version:
"John N Sarah tell ya just what they think. And they’re not gonna blink. And they’re gonna fix this country. Cause they’re just like you n’ ole Hank. Yes John is a maverick. And Sarah fixed Alaska’s broken condition. They’re gonna go just fine. We’re headed for better times. It’s a McCain – Palin tradition."

It is funny how blacks vote for the democrats. It was a Republican that freed the slaves. It was the democrats that kept Jim Crow laws in effect. It was southern democrats that were members of the KKK. It was democrats the kept the poll tax in effect. Does anyone see something wrong with the way blacks vote?

I WANT TO HEAR ABOUT OBAMA'S PLAN ON MEDICAL INSURANCE. FIRST HILLARY SAID IN A DEBATE THAT OBAMA HAS A $ 900.00 HIDDEN TAX FOR IT AND THEN THE PERSON ALSO PAYS A MONTH PREMIUM. I DON'T THINK PEOPLE WILL LIKE THAT.THEN, IF OBAMA SAYS HE WILL TAX SOCIAL SECURITY, WHO IS THE 95% OF THE PEOPLE THAT DON'T PAY A TAX, IF IT ISN'T THE SENIORS ON SOCIAL SECURITY.ALSO OBAMA SHOULD HAVE TO SHOW HIS MEDICAL RECORDS BECAUSE EVERYONE ELSE DID AND HE SHOULD HAVE TO PROVE HE IS A US CITIZEN ALSO. ACCORDING TO THE REPORTS HE WAS BORN IN KENYA AND HE ALSO GAVE UP CITIZEN SHIP OF ANY US RIGHTS WHEN HE WENT TO SCHOOL AND LIVED IN INDONESIA !!!!!

I think it's great that musicians write songs to promote whom they support. In fact, I myself have helped a local artist to record a song of his own. He has spent a lot of money out of his own pocket to promote this song, just to get McCain & Palin some recognition. The song is titled "McCain 08 Campaign Theme Song" and it can be found online. Just do a google search for it!

PLEASE AMERICA !!!! PLEASE !!!! I am begging you ALL !!!! DO NOT VOTE FOR OBAMA. We will never have a military again. We will be in the worse war you have ever seen. This man has no experience of any kind to be a president. What ARE YOU ALL THINKING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just because you think one republican president was bad, does not mean they all are. John McCain has alot of experience and he knows his business. Can you say that for OBAMA? Can you actually say you can see him being our Commander in Chief? Come on. Think of what you are doing to your families !!!! Your children and their children. We are going to be in a mess. Wait and see if you dont wake up.

I don't know what people are thinking when they say they are for Obama. He says he is going to raise your TAXES people. If you think the last eight years are bad, if he gets in the White House you will be thinking they were a good eight years. Obama doesn't have enough experience to be the president. John McCain all the way.
