LOS ANGELES (Oct. 14) - Janet Jackson is canceling shows yet again thanks to an illness that she's been battling since late September.
Now, Jackson's reps come clean about what ails the singer: vestibular migraine headaches, which induce the sensation of vertigo.

Celebrity Health Scares

Nicholas Evans, author of the best-selling novel "The Horse Whisperer," is recovering in a hospital after eating poisonous mushrooms during a holiday in Scotland.

Although reports claimed Jean Reno, known for his work in 'The Da Vinci Code' and 'The Professional,' suffered a major heart attack, his rep says that the actor only "went to a local hospital as a precaution for some discomfort he was feeling due to heartburn and gastroenteritis."

Christina Applegate, the 36-year-old actress famed for playing a ditzy daughter on 'Married ... With Children' and the title role in 'Samantha Who?', says she's completely free of the breast cancer she was diagnosed with recently.

Daniel Radcliffe says he's suffers from dyspraxia, a neurological condition which impairs organizational skills and movement and is often associated with clumsiness.

Former Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox is recovering after spinal surgery.

Fashion critic Mr. Blackwell, who terrorizes the celebrity world each year with his worst-dressed lists, fell into a coma for two days with a "serious illness" before he regained consciousness on Aug. 7.

Morgan Freeman is out of the hospital after four days of treatment on his elbow, arm and shoulder following a car crash on Sunday. The actor says he feels "real good," and was in good spirits overall.

Annette Funicello, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1987, is seen outside in a wheelchair with her nurse.

Elizabeth Taylor was taken to a hospital for precautionary reasons but is doing fine. An earlier report from the National Enquirer suggested the aging actress was put on life support, but according to her rep, those rumors are false.

Kelsey Grammer, who suffered a heart attack in June, was hospitalized on July 28 for feeling faint. Doctors treated the actor for an irregular heartbeat, which may be the result of medication he was taking.

The singer is receiving treatment for the migraines and is "feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour," her reps tell ETOnline.com.
The doctor has again ordered Jackson to postpone a return to her "Rock Witchu" tour. Jackson was scheduled to resume her tour Monday night at the Turning Stone Resort in New York after canceling a show over the weekend in Connecticut. A message posted on the resort and casino's Web site stated the show had been canceled at the advice of Jackson's doctor.
She has since postponed several shows, including Thursday night's show at Madison Square Garden in New York. Promoters say the dates will be rescheduled.
No one had previously said what ailed Jackson, who was rushed to a hospital in Montreal before a concert in late September.
Jackson is on her first North American tour in seven years.

the bright light and the heat generated by lights and other equipment are the likely "trigger" behind these massive migraine headaches. Also diet plays a big role and then again the reason could be far more serious
