PopEater caught up with the boys at the big nominations concert on Wednesday night in Los Angeles, where youngest brother Nick humbly reflected on the band's wildly successful run.
"We look to our fans to see where we are and where we've been," he said. "We're still shocked to be nominated. It's an honor to be nominated. So many amazing moments this year, this puts it over the edge."
Nick said he and his kin would "love to play with Elvis Costello" at the Feb. 8 bash. The 16-year-old singer-guitarist recently got a chance to interview the icon for Rolling Stone magazine where they talked about out-of-control fans and the art of the song.
The teen idols are already seen as heavy favorites to win the category against British soul ladies Duffy and Adele, the jazzy Jazmine Sullivan and country sensation Lady Antebellum.

Do those three dumba**es know that STEVIE Wonder (not Steven) is blind? So all the "Hey Steven let's rock out so we can look like we have talent too" only proves when you don't have talent, you need to jump around, scream, gyrate and disguise the fact that in your attempt at respectability you look foolish and desperate. Stevie Wonder came away from that horrific farce of musicical duos with his credibility barely in tact, I do not think any other music star could have, even Paul McCartney. By being blind, it saved Stevie Wonder the fateful next day when he had to explain "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING???" As I watched that whole "musical" number, one thought kept going through my mind "I am so glad that he is blind so he cannot see what they are doing, this pioneer of music, this musical icon, this man who craps out more talent than all three of those Disney made baffoons put togther, how dare they act like that around him?" All of you 11 year olds who are going to kick and sc...

The Jonas Brothers are great candidates for this Grammy nomination. They have great, very well crafted music that many people, from little kids to adults rock out to. They're wonderful musicians, so hardworking, and talented, so there should be no contradiction to thier nod. Great musicians deserve great rewards.

They're good role models - fine! But that doesn't make them automatically eligible for a grammy. The Grammys supposedly represent the best in music. It's not supposed to be a popularity contest and you cannot tell me that with all the music out there, these boys are among the top to outshine them all. Check the indie labels. I've been introduced to many new bands this year that just blow me away with their talent, but three little boys who try to be this generation's representation of the Beatles get the nod? It's unbelieveable. This proves to me once and for all that if you don't have a major label behind you, or if someone isn't slated to make money for some recored executive that you have no chance of winning one. Let them have the grammys. I know good music. It's just sad that this generation doesn't have that luxury.

The sad fact that these mediocre at best, teeny bop purveyors of treacle pop pap are even nominated shows how abysmally far the grammys have fallen and how irrelevant they've become. Popular music, along with the economy are in the toilet, a fitting send off for Georgie Worthless Bush!
