My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way is a very happily married man. "I love my wife," he tells Popeater smiling on the red carpet of the 2008 Scream Awards. So does that mean the band's next album is going to be filled with love songs? Not a chance. "I had a discussion with Lindsay [his wife] about it and I was like, 'Wow, all this stuff I'm writing is kind of full of hate. I don't know why that is,'" he says. "She's like, 'Cause you're happy.'"
While it's early for Way to be talking about the band's follow-up to the highly successful 'Black Parade,' he does have some ideas in mind. "We're probably gonna record live," he says. "Over the years that we've been hearing ourselves live and hearing us on records, we kind of prefer the live. There's more of a garage feel and more energy. I'd like to capture some of that, finally. That's the goal for the next one."
While Way's spending a lot of time in L.A. these days, he's resisted the urge to lyrically explore Hollywood culture on the album. "It's tempting to write about L.A., but you've seen so many record covers that have the Hollywood sign," he says. "It's not going to be about trying to change the world. I can tell you that."

Why a live cd? I love going to concerts and hearing them play live, but what's the point of paying tons of money for a ticket when I can just pop in the cd?The sound on a Cd is cleaner and allows you to enjoy every aspect of the song.At concerts (or with live songs) sometimes things can be drowned out by yelling or bad acoustics, and I don't want to pay for a cd with sucky sound.
