The rapper's son, Dwayne Carter III, was born Wednesday afternoon at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, his rep confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Lil Wayne announced at the BET Hip-Hop Awards that his son would be born in "a couple of days." During his acceptance speech, Lil Wayne opened up, "I got a son about to be born any day now, so shout-out to him. Pray for me."
