APOCALYPZ187: I can only speak for me, but, yeah.........I "can" definitely live without them. I've already had a son that's grown, I do everything (literally) around the house now, I can change my own oil, tires, etc.........I grew up with a father who taught me how to be self-sufficient. I am one of the women who can actually live without one now. I just don't want to, since I seem to have lucked out and got one of the remaining handful of decent ones. If I were single today, I wouldn't give any man the time of day, given what's out there to choose from. They're pretty much all the same...never satisfied with what they have, no matter how sexy, attentive, etc.. the wife/girlfriend is. Very few true men of substance left anymore. BTW....not every woman wants children, so there goes the only "need" we actually have for men..... (and I'm far from a "dyke"...ewww) Sorry...I'm just one of the women out there who wouldn't miss men...

Being a guy, I sided with Paul in that McCartney/Mills thing: married only 7 years and she's supposed to get $ 42 mil? For what??? But this is different. That woman lived with him, nursed him, managed him and brought his children into the world for 23 years! She deserved every penny she can get. He's 61. What does he think that bimbo wanted? She'll probably want everything else he's got when his wife is through with him; and I don't even begrudge the **** that. He should lose everything.

That used up old shoe of a man knows that gold-digging skank is not after him for his looks or his fabulous personality. I say to his wife; collect the money and consider yourself lucky to be rid of the old fool and find a younger guy. There are plenty of young guys that love older women and not for their money.

If he hs it to give.what is that to us? Judgng from what I've read, his wife deserves to get half..fo tolerating his bullshit for all those years. I can't really beleive that there was any love between those two-more like a co dependency with a woman needing to feel wanted and needed by taking up spa spce in the life of a self destructive man. I say give her the money--she deserved it. Lord only kows how many butt kickings, inuslts and vigils around the "procelin god" she had to endure living with that fool. Makes me wonder the mind of a woman, however. it seems that it is based heavily in masochism. Why would a 20 yer old fool with an old assed drug addict? Masochism has got to be the answer.
