Solange Knowles doesn't have to look far for a musical role model. After all, her big sister, Beyonce, has sold more than a combined 37 million albums as a solo artist and as part of Destiny's Child, won five Grammys after going it alone, secured multiple endorsements with L'Oreal, Pepsi and Tommy Hilfiger, married hip-hop king Jay-Z and extended her talents to the Big Screen, landing herself a Golden Globe nomination for her role in 'Dreamgirls.' And that's just scratching the surface. So when PopEater asked Solange if she could have any musician's career other than her own, her response wasn't the "B" we anticipated.
"Bjork's," Solange, who recently released her sophomore album, 'Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams,' told PopEater. "Having the success completely on your own terms has to be so fulfilling. Doing that while still managing to be politically aware, fashionable and make art on that scale is breathtaking."
We wonder how long it will be before House of Dereon starts manufacturing swan dresses.
