(Sept. 5) -- Here at PopEater, we take pride in calling them like we see them. While we'd love to believe that Carrie Underwood called Jessica Simpson fat, we're going to go ahead and declare shenanigans on the OK! story claiming such.

OK!, quoting an always-reliable "pal" of Underwood, says she laughed at Simpson's recent PEOPLE cover, "because it's the same one Jess did about John Mayer — same smile, same look, except she's a little fatter." Would an Underwood "pal" really do her catfighting dirty work like this? We see it as doubtful, hence, the BS declaration.

I can't imagine anyone remembering what Jessica's Simpson's Mag covers looked like. As busy as Carrie Underwood has been the last three years, you really think that she would look at the recent People mag cover and realize it was the same as the one before Jessica's last album and she was so in love with John Mayer. I doubt that even Jessica's fan realized how similar the two People covers are.

Carrie Underwood needs to move on with her life...Get over it...And get a life if you have to rely on talking about Jessica to get your name in the press...Stop flapping your gums like some old washwoman hanging over the fence with the neighbor next door gossiping about others and stick to your talent instead.

I'm not a Jessica fan. I think she is a media wh**e. Am I jealous? HELL NO. Is she fat? NO WAY. I think its really sad that she has to go on People every year or so and tell the world she is in love. I hate to jinx her, but this relationship will probably end just like it did with John Mayer. The woman can't sing & she can't act, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't find love. As for Carrie, I think shes gorgeous and she has a great voice. I'm not a country fan, but I can tolerate her. Carrie seems down to earth and nothing like the snobby Simpson. I do not think Carrie would ever lie or call her fat.

No worries ,Jessica. You are beautiful and sing like an angel. Carrie only wishes she had a killer bod like you do. And by the way,this guy is not attractive and not worth fighting over. You both could do better.
